It will take a few days.Has anyone received a shipping notice for their Immediate Purchase Data figure?

Well said.
Sadly, the overlap between people who act with a sense of entitlement and star trek fans who can afford one-sixth figure collecting is going to be high.
Nanjin has thick skin and a vision he believes in, though. He'll be fine!
Trying to put them in a graph, a Timeline as a reference. Easy to understand.I’d say just wait and see. They have announced they will be making a roadmap. Most lines don’t tell the consumer every detail about future uncertain releases. I think we expect too much.
Aww, there you go making things simple, easy, and low stress for everyone.Personally (not aimed at anyone specific.....just voicing an opinion based on what I've read over the weeks in this thread), if I was representing exo6 I would likely have vacated this discussion long before now. That would be a shame. There is just far too much persistent challenge and a general perceived entitlement.
Maybe just keep an eye out for previews, announcements, pre-orders and sales?
Buy what you like, leave what you don't.
I'm not trying to be dense, but I'll need you to unpack this. Are you saying there isn't a market for these two figures? Are you saying that if you release these two figures first then it will have a negative impact on your future TOS line sales? If so, fine. Say that. But if that's the case then it isn't just about protecting QMx TOS purchasers as you claimed.
Fine. But it's not a collector's fault the previous product line started with what they were most interested in. What EXO-6 is doing with TOS is like selling a Star Wars A New Hope line without Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Makes little sense from a purchasers perspective.
Thank you for doing all this for us. Your transparency has made you stand out from the pack of 1/6 companies.Trying to put them in a graph, a Timeline as a reference. Easy to understand.
that's fantastic. hopefully there will be time between releases enough to get the ones i want.Trying to put them in a graph, a Timeline as a reference. Easy to understand.
That will be super appreciated and helpful to me in budgeting for all of this.Trying to put them in a graph, a Timeline as a reference. Easy to understand.
It’s the EXO-6 collector’s equivalent of “Where’s Drax?” or “Where’s Cyborg?” or “Where’s Tobey and Andrew?”It’s almost funny that after each reveal there’s always a few “why are you making this when this other thing would be better?” comments. EXO6 is doing what I’ve seen no one in the 1/6 community do and as they continue to rise I wonder if these comments will become more or less frequent?
Drax is invisible so that one is easy to explain lolIt’s the EXO-6 collector’s equivalent of “Where’s Drax?” or “Where’s Cyborg?” or “Where’s Tobey and Andrew?”
I think TOS (if including the movies) had the most amount of figures revealed. 16 I believe, with at least one variation of 4 of the 7 main characters. I'm beyond happy with the reveals so far.Yeah kinda seems like people are forgetting that we did see a TOS Spock at the show. Along with Kirk, Spock and McCoy in their dress uniforms, so I don't get the complains about TOS being ignored.
Yeah, time to just sit back and enjoy the rideIt's not just Star Trek either; there is a pervasive sense of entitlement from certain types of collectors for every brand and franchise and type of collectible out there.
This is a bit unique since nanjin makes himself more available to fans than usual.
I do appreciate most people on this forum who have been in the game for a while are good about it, though there are some exceptions which is unfortunate.
In general, it's worse out on various social media platforms there. Which is usually why I never venture into the comments because I don't have a hazmat suit to deal with the toxicity.
At the end of the day, manufacturing high end collectibles is a more delicate balancing act than some people think it is. Everything has to make sense on a business level for the licensor, the licensee, the brand, and the company.
We all want this line to live long and prosper, and I believe things have been planned to help facilitate that as best as possible.
Welcome aboard Darren! So I've just spent the last FIVE DAYS reading this entire thread after only just finding it (I've been out of the collecting community for a long time)
I've said this to him personally, but I'll say it here too... it makes me beyond happy to see Nanjin/Schubert finally having full control of the ENTIRE Trek 1/6 license, and not only that... but absolutely KNOCKING IT OUT OF THE PARK
To see all those figures on display at Chicago, actual Star Trek figures, GOOD Star Trek figures, and from someone I consider a friend is like a dream come true. We're living through a golden age of Trek collection at the moment and we should consider ourselves so, so lucky. Every new figure I saw on display dropped my jaw. Things we never thought we'd see.
It's also great to see the improvement with the current figures, specifically the TWOK figures from the ones I had a small part in wayyyy back when (I did the sculpts)

The new TWOK Kirk sculpt you displayed at Chicago Nanjin is PERFECTION. It captures everything I was trying to get but failed to. For those who don't know I did these the old fashioned way in wax, nothing digital back then. They were my first sculpts and as such I really struggled a lot with symmetry - and by the time I had to shrink the heads as I sculpted them too big they got distorted and were way off. I always felt bad for that. They were also lacking in detail compared to what you see today.
I have a good eye for likeness though, perhaps I should learn 3D sculpting, I'd probably be good at it
The other vast leap up in quality in all this new stuff is the tailoring/materials/body shapes. They're simply beautiful!! I would 100% be buying these new ones as those TOS movie characters are literally my perfect and most wanted figures... but I have a real emotional connection to these older (and now vastly inferior) ones as they're part of my story. A thing I was briefly involved in and for which I'll always hold some pride. I thank you for giving me that memory Nanjin.
I'll definitely be buying that TMP/TWOK Captain's chair though, I need my Jimmy boy sitting on the correct one, he's been on his old TOS chair for years here in my studio

I'll also be getting those Borg alcoves!! I've always wanted to replicate the following image from First Contact and assumed I'd have to make everything by hand, but no longer!! I was going to buy a FC Picard until I realised that they've already been out for pre order and are sold out oops.. that's what I get for being away from things haha. I'll probably customise my old QMX Picard to get this image... until perhaps a new one comes out down the line.

Anyway.... CONGRATULATIONS Nanjin with everything you've done so far and will be doing in the future. Your dedication is paying off in droves and we're all the lucky ones who get to see Trek collectibles of a quality we could have only dreamed of before. I applaud you sir!
