I rather liked the new Seven, and always thought she had that harder edge to her (especially when you remember all the times she disobeyed Janeway and did her own thing), which is what also made her one of the few interesting characters on the show. And I could always tell that it wouldn't take much to push her over the edge.

Maybe Picard took it a bit far, but this was also many years later after she had clearly been through a lot.

Some interesting news in the latest Variety article (which may relate to future Exo-6 figures):

-The Section 31 movie has Georgiou interacting with a young Rachel Garrett of the Enterprise C.
-The Starfleet Academy series (sigh) is confirmed to take place in the 32nd century
I can’t stand the 32nd century time line… ugh

I don't see a hypothetical Legacy series attracting new viewers, honestly. Fan service and nostalgia will only take you so far.
You have a point, which is why I don't get how they keep making new content in the TOS era. However, I think a 1701-G series would feel like a very appropriate direction to go in terms of the franchise's early embrace of generational continuity. New crew, new Enterprise, new century, all on the foundation of the crew/ship/adventures that came before.

I love SNW, best Trek since 2005. But creatively, all the neo-TOS stuff still kinda feels like wallowing to me.

I feel like, if we're going to have multiple ongoing series anyway, you can have something like SNW, something like the Academy series, and something like Legacy all at once so everyone can be happy.

Absolutely. I'm still chuckling about that one dude in the TOS thread calling Trek a "dead franchise". If anything they're risking over-saturation again. :p

"Note to ship's galley: Romulan ale no longer to be served at diplomatic functions."

It packs a freaking punch, I'll say that. My wife says it's not a drink, it's a shot, lol.

Once again courtesy of the official Star Trek cookbook.

Data arrived. Does anyone else’s have the slightly lazy eye on main head sculpt? Attached 2 pics. The second head is perfect but I don’t really want to use it due to the side panel.

Is Exo likely to replace a head for me, rather than go through a long-winded returns process?

I don't think people had any luck getting replacements for other cross-eyed figures like Tuvok, so I don't expect you would either unfortunately.

Sorry yours turned up that way - that's pretty offputting.

Hope you get a good replacement (one way or another).

.

I actually think this is normal. As normal as you can expect. Even looking at the official shots on Exo’s page, the right eye is just slightly squinting. I’m not sure it’s really worth bothering with, though I can’t understand why the second head doesn’t look like this :/

Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. I do recall others approaching EXO about imperfections and they were told it fell within acceptable “production variances”.

My Kira and Data both shipped from Collectorzown yesterday. Looking forward to them even though I have mixed feelings on Kira.
