There is no way he can produce this figure with a run of 50-100 without losing his pants with production, licensing and marketing cost.

My hunch is this is probably another sales pitch and give it time , he will say yea need to open to the public to have enough scale for production

Don’t think I can take much more of the idiocy. There’s too much drama and it’s just not worth it. And the sad thing is, I keep buying b/c I love Star Trek. It’s just getting more and more difficult to separate my love of Star Trek and wanting to collect these from the collective issues. Now I hope this is just another mind game b/c if not, I’m really out this time (and won’t regret it for sure). Guess we’ll see.

It would be stupid for Chang to be Section 31. Also we still haven’t even been given details on how that whole thing is going to work. Have to prove that you’re a devout sheep who never questions any decision is about the gist of it so far, but still no details on how he’s going to prove that.

It would truly be unfortunate If Chang is only available to his cult, then it is what it is. Not going to lose sleep over it but like I said I think it is another sales pitch he does on occasion to drum up drama and artificial demand.

And I think this is the part that pis^^^ everyone off even his most die hard fans. The used car sales pitch telling everyone “ you will regret when they are sold out to “ you better not ask a question about X because you must be an expert” to” X is now overtaking Y which means they will now be $$$$ on EBAY” to “ if you are not in, you are out “ to “ don't buy if you don’t need it…. Ya da yada.” It is a pity because he has passion and I do salute him for his dedication but instead of letting everyone shine building up the franchise with him together in unity , he create unnecessary drama and making even his best customers /Fanboy ( IE the fan that buys every figure but want to share feedback) dread the inevitable of leaving the franchise

It's a special 'club' that is being planned. If you qualify to join the club, you will have access to certain limited production figures/dioramas/etc.

It is still in the planning stages, maybe something will be announced by year-end.

Making Chang the first figure is clearly designed to do just that. People are asking who will qualify and he's still harping on about experts won't over and over.

Well, Disco Bones is getting a new headsculpt that looks tons more like De (I still don't think the upper eyelids look right, but everything else looks more dialed in). Here's hoping they remember he had blue eyes and that his body proportions are fixed, as well.
