would set fire to that figure if i was given it lol
Why?

Whatever your opinion of Whoopie, Guinan was a very good character. And Whoopie has some... "interesting" opinions but ain't Hitler. lol

The only time I can't really enjoy a character anymore is when an actor turned out to be a rapist or murderer or something crazy level. Can't really watch House of Cards or That 70s Show much anymore... Love those shows too...

If you just hate Guinan fair enough I guess lol. She was my favorite for a number of years when I was a kid. Also loved Sister Act! I'd buy the @#$% out of a Guinan figure but I don't think it'll be her because Nanjin expressed disappointment in the quality of the tailoring on the figure on display.

Well, it's Tuesday. In fact where Nanjin is it's almost midnight...
Opposite.
It's almost 8am where he lives most of the time. He goes to China quite often to do his business stuff but lives in the California Bay Area. I think when he refers to when something will be released it's in reference to the west coast USA.

Yeah I don't follow right wing media or keep up with every crazy thing she says on the View. I just know Guinan was a cool TNG character who played a key role in some of the most iconic episodes of the series.

Yeah, I usually strive to separate the character from the actor in terms of off-screen behavior and I usually succeed. And that Guinan proto looked very good. Just trying to decide if she's a crucial character for the display or not (whenever she goes up for preorder).

It's the TNG Chair!
Looks really nice, and the control panels include light-up features!

Unfortunately for my TNG viewing pleasure, since she has now decided to "View" her career as such, I can by no means separate the outspoken Whoopi from her 'interesting' opinions. And I suspect that if one agrees with those opinions it's especially a Guinan paradise.

Eh. That's your choice.
I actually don't really know what her views are. Or Beltran's. Or Keating's. Or Stewart's, Shatner's, Takei's, etc.
I don't care. There were lots of people on the Star Trek cruise having a fit about Robert Beltran being there because, I dunno, he's conservative? I don't care. I'm still getting his autograph.
Paying attention to that stuff is a great way to ruin every show / movie / book / band / artist you enjoy.

Good for you. And I pretty much know what the views are of most of the Trek actors. But they are not announcing them on The View every day.
