The other Q is

With all this mess with the tariffs , wondered how much of this will affect the $200-$300 toy market which is the EXO target market ? I imagined probably at least 25-35% of all ST figures sold at that price range comes to US. Everyone will lose . The buyer will probably slow ordering as this target market are probably more sensitive to prices , the retailer and the company ( IE EXO, Mars etc) selling these price range figures

I already heard the custom 1/6 market has already slowed down significantly and these are $1000-$2,000 figures . Buyers in the high range are not buying as much as before.

With the mess from Trump and its tariff on all China incoming goods and adding on mail lost from China SF express on some of the new orders from EXO if you order direct from EXO, sounds like it would make better sense to just wait till SS or BBT get the goods and it is shipped directly from US than from EXO .
Are you guys rethinking if you want to order direct from EXO?
I am rethinking ordering direct from EXO-6. Between this and their awful customer service, I'd say it's more likely than not.

I have some deposits in with Timewalker Toys. I may just switch over to them completely.

Agreed. EXO has been solid shipping wise in the past but with this mess happening maybe the wise move is just wait

The only thing I ever ordered directly from EXO-6 was Lower Decks Wave 1, because of the "surprise gift," which was unsurprisingly a Cerritos communicator badge pin, and I also think at the time Mondo was the only other retailer carrying the set, and they wanted the entire amount of money up front. I got the set and had no issues, but I feel like I was lucky. Every 1/6th scale EXO-6 figure I've purchased has come from Sideshow. It took a little longer to get them, but I also knew I'd have less stress in the long run.

Not sure how tariffs will effect the price of figures, but getting them from another retailer isn't going to help, the tariffs will hit them all.
Well as I understand it, that only happens when the buyer and seller are in two different countries. Legally, I don't think it works any other way. Ask any UK or AUD buyer from the US for the last dozen-some years or so. Taxes yes, Tariffs no.

I have no idea how temporary or if it affects stuff, but the reddit for action figures seems to be concerned.

USPS reversed course about twelve hours later, so it was very temporary. Apparently, they're gonna work with Customs and Border Protection to implement some way to collect tariffs on inbound parcels. It's not clear how that's supposed to work, but one could assume it will be similar to the customs fees based on declared value that folks outside the U.S. pay when they receive international parcels.

Yep that's exactly how I was picturing it being done. The upside if there is one: At least now we'll have the chance to experience firsthand just how much international buyers pay before receiving a package and how much that has sucked for them. Until now we could only guess the suckocity of it.
