EXO-6 Star Trek "TOS" Figures (The Original Series)

This one is a reluctant pass for me because it looks quite good, but I have to draw the line somewhere and I think this is where.

I can't see myself investing in the full Cage line if there is one, so this Spock would just be in a corner of the display looking kinda out of place, so I think I'll just save some money here.

I'm happy TOS fans are getting something after so long. This is an easy pass for me though since I'm really just doing the original movies and TNG.

Cage Spock is up for preorder on Sideshow now. Possibly other seller sites too, but I haven't looked. When the number is so small I wonder how they allocate an edition of 500 to various sellers. Is it 20-50 units each with the majority sold through their own site?

Do you think this will be their representation of the original series Spock? Meaning they just need to do Kirk, Bones, Scotty, Uruha, Sulu and Chekov or there will be an additional TOS Spock? I'm guessing the latter.

No we're supposed to get a regular TOS Spock as well.

I just wish I knew if the Pike headsculpt was gonna turn out good enough for me to want, then I might want Spock

but ngl, am I the only one disappointed it doesn't come with a goofy-smile headsculpt? and maybe the plant as an accessory lol. I mean cmon

I ordered as soon as the email came in. I’ve been waiting on items from the Cage. That is one of my all-time favorite episodes. I like the design from the first pilot (trek-style meets utilitarian - like the harness and the cobbled together-looking communicators.)

I’m not 100% in love with the head sculpt, I think all of their Nimoy sculpts have the eyes set a little too close and the upper lids droop more than they should on the outer corners (EDIT: after relooking at it I don’t think it’s the corner of the eyes, it’s that the eyes aren’t open enough. Also his eyebrows look a little thin compared to screenshots. None of these are dealbreakers for this Cage fan). Regardless, I’m thrilled to add him to my shelf and look forward to Pike being available.
