Boardwalk Empire
Dexter
Luck (I think that is January though)
Walking Dead
Hell on Wheels

Pretty much anything on HBO or AMC. I will probably catch an episode of The Office here and there but I am not too excited for the new season without Steve.

Terra Nova....Since BE is getting a second season I'll def start watching the first season now. It's on netflix right? I'll prob check out the Once upon a time show. That's about it. What happened to V?

"Paranormal Witness" premiers tonight on SCIFi at 10pm. Looks like it might be creepy and it's gotten some decent reviews so far. I'll give the first episode a shot.

Yeah i'm gonna give this a shot as well.

So after the first full week of new shows and old shows returning, here's my thoughts:

Monday -
Checked out 2 Broke Girls - I'll give it a couple more weeks. Didn't knock my socks off, but I thought there was decent chemistry between the leads, and the writing may improve.

Loved the kick off of Two and a Half Men with Kutcher, but we'll see how it plays out. My wife wasn't as happy with it as I was.

Castle was good, but I'm not thrilled with the general direction they seem to be going in. I hope Castle isn't hiding stuff from Beckett for too long - it gets old.

This Monday sees the return of Mike and Molly, as well as the start of Terra Nova.

Tuesday -

Raising Hope was great - I love that show. And the song that they used to bring you up to speed at the start was hilarious.

The New Girl was good, although Zooey was a tad quirkier than I expected. I think the guys are reasonably good, although my favorite is Daman Wayans Jr, and I hear he left the show after the first episode. Again, it takes a sitcom a few episodes for everyone to get their feet, so I'll give it a couple more.

Ringer I already talked about, but it's solid so far. Glad to see SMG back, and the show had real potential. Also being on CW means we might actually see it last even with lower ratings.

I hated Unforgettable. Stupid plot, weak writing, bad red herrings. I might give it one more shot...but it's iffy.

Wednesday -

Watched a couple epsides of Up All Night and Free Agents. They are the first two I'll be dropping. I didn't hate either, but they didn't do much for me either.

Modern Family is its usual outstanding self. The dude ranch episode was good, but the other one where everyone was a product of their parents was hilarious.

Revenge is the surprise so far for me. Didn't think I'd like it, but I really enjoyed the first hour. Not sure that the concept has legs for more than a season, but I'm in for now.

And Criminal Minds is my wife's favorite, so I'll be along for the ride most weeks.

Thursday -

Great show? Yep - Community still rocks, Big Bang still rocks. I haven't gotten to watch all of Person of Interest yet, but what I did see, I enjoyed. Didn't watch, but recorded, Prime Suspect.

Whitney...alot like 2 Broke Girls, it has potential but we'll have to watch a couple episodes to see if the characters get fleshed out.

Friday -

I have A Gifted Man set to tape, but I'm not a huge fan of the lead actor and the premise seems silly to me, so I'm not holding my breath. It also doesn't help that it's an hour long, I can only watch it some time later (Friday is a bad night for any tv watching around the Crawford house, right along with Saturday), and it has to compete with shows like Ringer and Revenge for my attention.

damon wayans jr left "the new girl" due to "happy endings" being renewed. i'm sure everyone who watched the pilot will be nice and confused when they plug a new black guy in there.

i am not really interested in many new shows except for "the new girl". i have a hard time finding enough free time to tackle too many 1 hour shows and "glee" currently gets that top spot. "modern family", "big bang theory" and "community" are still my mains.

Told myself I'd keep an open mind for a lot of the new shows this season but so far pretty disappointed.

I wanted to like the Ringer, I thought the premise sounded interesting and being a Buffy fan was excited to see Sarah back but so far I'm not feeling any connection to any of the characters. I thought the use of the green screen in the first episode was probably the worst use of a green screen I've ever seen. If a show like Sanctuary can make it work, why can't the Ringer. After two episodes so far I don't think I'm gonna make it much longer.

Playboy Club was interesting, decent acting and I like setting. It has a real opportunity to have some neat guest stars with the musical and comedy guests Hefner had back in the day.

Person of Interest , I really thought was good, it was cliched but had enough acting and production values to keep me interested through out the show and when it was over I wanted to know more, which in my mind is the best any show can do, keep me wanting more. I thought Jim Caviezel and Micheal Emerson really nailed their characters. I wonder if it's going to keep a week by week storyline or is their going to be a longer story arc in there.

Charlies Angels.... I dvr'd it, got through half of it and deleted it. I didn't see any that interested me at all, though I was never a big Angels fan of the first series and I though the movies were just ok.

Last new show that I made time to watch or DVR was Secret Circle and only because it was on after Vampire Diaries ( great guilty pleasure show). Not sure what to make of it so far, it's much more teenage angst to me then diaries and the acting is extremely uneven. I don't mind teen shows as long as they are well done but so far this one is on the fence. It's produced by Kevin Williamson and based on the same author who did Vampire Diaries so I'm gonna give this one a chance. It's slow starting much like The Nine lives of Chloe King, which took almost the whole short season to get going, hopefully it picks up sooner then later.

I wasn't expecting much from The Secret Circle, but kinda like it.. It feels very like, rushed. I do feel however that after another handful of episodes it'll be one of my weekly shows..

Vampire Diaries season 3 episodes 1 & 2 have got to be my favorite of the whole series so far. I just can't believe how awesome the cast is on that show.. You just can't not love every character.. Except maybe Matt..

Person of Interest was very interesting, held my attention, interesting characters; can't wait for the second episode.

Charlies Angels was meh. My wife thought the guy who played Bosley was hot. I was not overly impressed with the girls tho' needed bigger boobage, and less clothing:)

Point of Interest I really liked and will watch again. The Gifted Man might be okay and l'll give it one more watch though it looks like something that can get old quick. So far that's the only new shows I've watched.

I DVR'd the Gifted Man earlier, was it a bit like Dragonfly? The movie with Kevin Costner, who loses his wife and she sends messages back to him to move on with his life? when I saw the commercial for Gifted Man, I thought of Dragonfly and since my wife really liked the movie I figure to at least DVR it.

I still need to watch the vampire diaries & the ringer...all episodes are sitting on the dvr

I'm checking out some of the free episodes on the Playstation Network. Right now, I'm watching Charlie's Angels...and the acting and dialogue are downright painful. The only way I see myself watching another episode is if, by some miracle, the show gets moved to a premium cable channel and Kelly's new contract designates that she must take her top off at least once per episode. Other than that, this show is a stinking pile of pure, unadulterated dog ____.

I checked out the new Charlie's Angels. Cheesy dialogue, bad acting, pretty girls... yep, that's pretty much how I remember the old Charlie's Angels.

You mean the whole series? Or just season 3?

If you've never seen The Vamp Diaries, you really need to give it a chance. Don't go in with that "AHH GAWD ANOTHER TWILIGHT CRAP SHOW" mindset. It is a love story, but it's so much more..
