It's hacking time!
Yeah, I think the general approach to the previous FF films was spot on. The problem there is that they were badly written and unfunny (and some of the casting was questionable). It's interesting that I can imagine the complete opposite here--films that totally miss the tone, but are well written and half-way decent.
Ugh, just realized that Reed Richards was in Divergent. I had free HBO for a weekend a couple weeks back and watched it. I thought he sucked in that movie.
Is that Johnny Depp? What is that from?
Er, how does that mesh with taking Cronenberg films as their tonal inspiration?this movie won't be as serious as the trailer is making it out to be, Kinberg said the tone was comparable to Raimi's Spider-Man films.
Looked alright to me. It seems to be lacking some color and fun, but I don't think this looks like crap by any means. It was a good trailer even if I think the tone is a little too dark for Fantastic 4.
Also, are Sue and Johnny brother and sister? If so, how can that be? "He's blek?" He should have been the Thing if they're going for demographic/diversity appeal.
You weren't wrong.Wow... Just wow...
