Why does this movie come off as very somber and depressing when fantastic four is suppose to be a bit fun and exciting. I mean it doesnt mean the movie will suck becuase of it its just very strange.

I mean, I understand that these are meant to be their first costumes but everything so far has not given us a glimmer of excitement yet. Well for me anyway.

Fox just announced that next up will be an adaptation of the moment in the comics when Sue miscarries. Split into two films.

This is more influenced by films like the fly where it's more about tragedy and over coming that than it is about being fun. I like the approach, but that's just me.

LOL at least they are trying to make a good movie and not dumbing this down to the lowest common denominator. I under stand the hate but let's see how this film turns out. Who knows, maybe it'll actually be a good reimagining of the fantastic four.

Same. Makes a nice change from all the save the world movies to have a more personal one and the emphasis on them being explorers and scientists is more in tune with Stan Lees original visions, he didn't even want them wearing costumes.

Hey if it's good I'll be the first to admit it. I didn't realize MOLE_Man739 was going to be in the movie. Watching him team up on the messageboards with DOOM should be epic.
