True. Though this comment could just as easily refer to the Avengers promotional material in all of it's ham-fisted PS'd glory.

True

The Avengers promo pics were average at best.

Cut & paste-o-rama. :lol

True

I remember how terrible the initial First Class promo shots looked. Just awful. And that movie ended up being one of the best made comic movies yet.

Rogue cut better bring some much needed action though.

Wolverine stabbing with bone claws, Magneto lifting more stuff and Mystique turning blue doesn't cut it anymore post TWS.

Wut....

In an interview with Hero Complex to promote this summer’s Fantastic Four, Trank denied the reports of trouble on that film, saying that he has been shocked by the reaction to his Star Wars departure. “People get so excited to raise their pitchforks,” he said.

Claiming it was the hardest decision he’s ever had to make, Trank says he ultimately left the project because he didn’t want to take on another huge franchise right away.

“I want to do something original after this because I’ve been living under public scrutiny, as you’ve seen, for the last four years of my life,” he said. “And it’s not healthy for me right now in my life. I want to do something that’s below the radar. … I have a great relationship with everyone at Lucasfilm and with [Lucasfilm VP of development Kiri Hart]. And they all understood it because this whole experience for me has been very psychologically hard.”

Yup, Lucasfilm was "nice" to his face but bts they were like "GTFO", we ain't trusting this unstable kid with this franchise/budget.

Go find a psychiatrist kid, we got a movie to make.

from the same article

For her part, Lucasfilm VP of development Kiri Hart said it had been “a privilege to collaborate with Josh” and that the company was “grateful for the energy and love of 'Star Wars' that he brought to the process.”

But rumors quickly began swirling that there were deeper, darker reasons behind the parting of ways. The Hollywood Reporter, citing unnamed sources, reported that Trank had, in fact, been fired from the "Star Wars" film

Not exactly going below the radar....

Would have been amazing to have seen his take on Jedi though.
