And that's how we know beyond any doubt that Trank is immature and short-sighted, which helps to feed the narrative that he was a huge problem before the suits stepped in. Even if he felt this way, even if it's the truth, don't blab about it right when your ****ing movie is debuting. Wait a month or two, and then go wherever you want and bad-mouth it. But that was incredibly idiotic. But in fairness, he was probably high and drunk at the time he posted. And we've all been there.

:mwaha

I almost want to pay to go see this on the big screen after reading all the hub bub in this thread. :lol

I actually recommend that cbm fans go see this.

It will make them appreciate AOU more. :lol

I actually wouldn't mind, but we need to drink before hand.

We should take jye, and the only way he can get out of it is standing in Times Square naked with his Godzilla sign :rotfl

Time Square and me were meant to be together, look up to the cosmos and you will see this prophecy for yourself.

Cover his nads and I'm in :lecture

Just like The Thing. :lol

I wouldn't be surprised if wanted to lose the studio money :lol

Yeah,

I don't think he and Fox are in talking terms. :lol

You know what this picture doesn't represent, Trank's career.

Doesn't he realize that he's ****ing with Wall Street banks! :horror

He'll never work again in Hollywood after this stunt.

The way they introduced and ended dr doom - one of the most important villains in the f4 universe, made me physically sick. Sony just can't get their *** together. They should just license all the marvel characters to Disney like they did with spiderman and be done with it.

Horrible horrible movie, deserves its 8% rating on rt.

I'll probably never see this movie, but with that said I think the "Doom" clip posted was cool. Reminds me of the Plague from Hobo with a Shotgun.

Was it Doom? No, but I thought it was a cool scene.

Generally I'm not a big schadenfreude guy but personally I've been loving watching this movie crater. The first two FF films were awful (especially the second -- and no, my opinion wouldn't be any different if it were Marvel that made them), so it's nice to see that they finally released something so bad that really only the most hardcore FOX fans/Marvel haters can defend. Like I said earlier, I only wish it was doing worse. Wish they'd lost $100M on it so there'd be no doubt the license would be going back to Marvel. Probably FOX will keep it out of spite and that's another reason I hate them so much, haha. They're all just giant douchbags. From the director to the cast to the studio. Don't have any sympathy at all for any of them. And I mean seriously, people are feeling sorry for guys that are making millions to release dreck like this? I'm not even a fan of FF but I'm just sick of watching FOX drag a Marvel property through the mud.

I stopped feeling bad when the Michael guy said "fans are going to watch it no matter what"

So arrogant, f that guy. Every interview I see of him on this movie he comes off cocky as hell....

The guy from whiplash said bad reviews don't bother him because hero movies never get 80/90% good reviews

F everyone else in this:lol

I keep imagining a totally straight-faced Trank, in the build-up to this movie, telling an interviewer:

"Yeah, this is going to be totally unlike any other comic movie out there. I'm really taking a lesson from classic horror and sci-fi movies as my inspiration. You know, Street Trash, Ghoulies, CHUD, Troll 2, Silent Night, Deadly Night 2, sprinkle in the narrative flow, character development, and resolution of Maximum Overdrive. This is going to be something really special."

Are they making millions for this? I doubt it, Andrew Garfield didn’t even make a million for his first go at Spidey.
Budget was $120M and everyone's already been paid. At the very least, all the principles made in a month or two what it takes me and most others to make in a year. If any of us **** the carpet like these cats, we'd be fired. All these losers are going to go on to other overpaid jobs. I love movies, too, doesn't mean I give a **** about any of these *******s.

Haha, yup. Long story short, they can all burn in hell for all I care. :lol

I'm wondering if this is so bad Marvel could just sue Fox at this point for damaging their intellectual property that is the Fantastic Four. The film being so bad could effect their sales of comics, merch, etc. Threats of a law suit might be enough to get Fox to sell them back and cut their losses :lol

In all seriousness, I'm pretty sure Disney/Marvel is not happy about it either, because the film has a BIG Marvel logo in the beginning, and the general audience doesn't know or care if the film is part of the MCU...it's all the same to them, it's Marvel. So despite what people might think, Disney can't be too happy with this failure.
