To you. There's no logical reason for it other than exploiting the change in a poor (and racist) attempt at garnering cash from a specific demographic. Once the public so wantonly accepts that - because if they don't, they're "racist," hey, why not change the rest?

The reason could always be he is a good actor that could be much better in the role than Chris Evans was.

Problem is they didnt pick a good actor

This whole reboot looks like shat

Michael B Jordan isn’t a good actor? I think most people would disagree with that statement but we’re all entitled to our opinions.

Looks like Falcon has words for some of you nonbelievers

When asked about the rumor of Michael B. Jordan being cast as Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four, Anthony Mackie confirmed that Jordan had the role. Mackie said, “No, no, no, he’s there.”
“Michael B. Jordan is a very good friend of mine,” said Mackie. “I’ve known him since he was a teenager, and I’m so happy, for more than anybody else for him to be getting the accolades he’s getting, because he deserves it.”
In regards to people taking issue with Jordan not being the right skin color to play Human Torch, Mackie continued, “I think with these type of movies, everything else aside, you need a good actor. Michael B. Jordan is a good actor, black or white. So what you have to realize is, and go back and forth and just say, ‘Superman can’t fly, Batman ain’t real, the Human Torch don’t really set himself on fire and fly around the room, so he can look like whatever they want him to look like.’ You just have to allow yourself to see him that way. And if you can’t do that, that says something about you.”
When asked if audiences would be able to accept Jordan as Human Torch, Mackie responded, “As an audience member if you can’t do that, you need to look at yourself, because there’s something going on with you, that you might need some help with.”

I think the polystyrene comment was merely a reference to the costume from the previous movies.

Yeah, I didn't know so many people liked that crap Thing suit. I would much rather see a CGI thing resembling this:

They only like it now because a new movie is coming out. Thats how it always works.

I've never heard anyone say a kind word about the Chiklis Thing suit.

Expect to hear how great the originals were, now that this movie is being developed. Whether this movie is great or not, most of the members on here already made up their mind that the movie already sucks.

Yeah, I haven't seen much from anyone saying the older FF movies were any good in nearly any way, apart from Evans and maybe Chiklis' casting. . .with the exception of the Josh, of course. Would be odd for folks to start now.

Yeah, haven't exactly heard any cheering for them getting rid of the orange fatsuit in this thread. :lol

Wrong. Would you care to manufacture another opposing POV argument to justify your unending praise for this potential POS? :dunno :lol

Praise is waiting for a trailer or some factual information about a movie before I make an opinion :dunno

Well I've said I'm a fan of Chiklis' portrayal since I've been posting in here, so..

They only like it now because a new movie is coming out. Thats how it always works.
Maybe for some it's that way, but that's just a blatant blanket assumption right there. :lol

Come on.. :lol

They weren't 'great' - no one posting seriously would champion that opinion - or really has in here yet.. but as mentioned, there's some merit there.

A lot of folks agree that Chiklis was great from what I've seen online, so that's not any huge revelation really - but as mentioned, it's the suit that gets the flack.
