People don't mention the Galaga bit enough. That absolutely was the biggest laugh of the whole movie for me. :lol

Galaga got a great laugh from the audience, Hulk smashing Loki brought the house down.

Well, except for pturtle, he was sleeping. :lol

Cleaned up the reported posts and everything else since it seemed all tied together. If it wasn't I do apologize I'll go back and undo anything later. Figured I'd grab this while my students were working quietly for a second.

:lol Just to make sure... "Fantastic Foregone Conclusion" gets flagged and removed? I think I've got some die-hard fans out there!

RotLA is average compared to TLC.

Are the FF still relevant? I mean, with the series cancelled that must mean they just don't have that many fans compared to other superheroes, everybody here are complaining, but I'm not sure that means the general audience won't go and see the movie with the right marketing campaign, I'm sure they'll pull some accolades like... "From the studio that brought you X-men 1st class and Days of future past"...

Good thing I don't care about the FF :lol I'm just curious to see Johnny Quid as Doom.

The 1st movies weren't that bad to my recollection, not really badass but I remember having fun watching them...

The FF are as relevant as the writers can make them. A family of Superheroes fighting evil and saving the planet while combating the same world problems others families face would be an easy hit, you'd think. The problem is no one in recent memory seems to know how to write that story.

The first films were boring because the film makers never made you care about the FF. There was nothing there that really made them likable, so you're only watching these people go through the motions of getting powers and fighting things and you don't really care if they win or lose.

Oh and just to toss this on the fire, the new film will suck, because it's going to be even worse than the first films. You won't care about the characters, Doom will once again be shell of the Villain he's supposed to be and in the end the people making this film will completely leave the family dynamic between the four them out of the plot.

Almost every interview I have read describes this film as character driven and focuses on their relationship.

It isn't that they are irrelevant, Marvel doesn't want to promote anything that is out of the movie licenses. That's why they are screwed with Spider-Man

This makes no sense, they have the license under current contract to do Spider stuff from movies, it's the X-men they have to pay extra royalties for, unless you meant X-men. :lol

It's not a rumor, it was from the actor's mouth. Though technically he said he was going to be an "antisocial programmer" whose name on blogging sites is "Doom."
