Thought it was excellent. Had me laughing out loud several times. It captured the same quirky tone of the film without copying it. The last 30 mins or so were relentless. Love Billy Bob in this. Great, cool character who has the best scenes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, a great start.

I really like Martin Freeman as Lester, a really great rework of William H Macy's character Jerry. B.B Thorton is great as this lone drifter/hit-man.

It's only one episode in but I hope we get a strong female lead like Marge. Is Molly going to be that person?

Tonally it feels like the film but not a direct remake which is great, we have something new to keep us intrigued.

Watched the DVRed episode over the weekend. Great premiere episode. ^I think Molly is going to be the strong female lead. In the season preview after the episode, they show Colin Hank's character and Molly working together.

Interesting show.
The colin hanks/Thornton scene was pretty intense.
Its funny and scary as hell.

The second episode was definitely a lot slower than the first but I guess that was inevitable since the first episode was pretty relentless and packed.

The Rooster Prince was slower than the first episode but that didn't bother me. I am really enjoying this show so far :)

Fantastic how they tied together the original movie and the series in the last episode.

I loved this episode! That screen scraper moment was great! Hard to believe that case belonging to anybody else other than Showalter :)

Yeah, that was amazing. I'm still loving the series. I am really impressed with how well they've kept the story going. I can't wait to see where it goes for the second half.

I know we will find out eventually........but WTF? was up with the fish......:lol

Tonight's episode was pretty awesome.
There's no way Molly is dead. I doubt they would kill her off when there's still 4 episodes to go.

I thought this last episode was the best of the season to date. It was non-stop and relentless. The whole suicide by cop setup was ruthless.

For me, Fargo is right up there with Justified, The Americans, Vikings and The Bridge as the best shows on cable. Granted, I haven't seen True Detective yet. I'm also looking forward to Tyrant on FX.

I was going to ask the same thing about the fish also. :lol
