I do disagree the Baby Rog has had much of an effect on the price Daddy commands. The price drop is more due to LOTR just not being as big a seller with no movie out. Most of the people collecting LOTR now are die hards or flippers.

But for all those looking for one. I don't think this bronze dio will go for all that much, say (random number) $100 more. With ebay and paypal fees, and shipping costs from SS, scalpers/flippers are only looking at a rough $60-50 profit.

Why is it the only one's who think this dio. will flop are the one's who didn't get one? Granted LOTR's popularity is a shadow of what it once was but you are dreaming [or more likely just trying to convince yourself] if you think this piece won't be highly sought after. If any piece was made for the faux bronze treatment it is this one, a great sculpt and with as incredibly low ES. So if you think those choosing to sell their's are going to make a $50-$60 profit you're just kidding yourself. But if that makes you feel better...knock yourself out

The Diane auction went a little over a grand. So this should easily be in the close vicinity of that price, IMO.

It won't be anywhere near that. #1 there was only 1 of those and #2 things for charity always go for more than they would normaly.

I didn't get one. I passed on it and I'm not bitter but I don't think this thing is gonna light the world on fire. Do I think it will only make that little profit? No, I know it will do more than that. Now, do I think it will make some kind of crazy profit? No, I don't think it will do that either. I'd say $150-$200 early on will be what you see. I dont think this thing is gonna be something that is "that" sought after.
