I just don't see the appeal overall in the Faux Bronze pieces. I mean the sculpting is well done because its like the regular piece but its the ES that sell these because people know they can flip them. Otherwise I don't think you'd see some of these folks jumping all over them.

this is a great piece to receive the FB treatment IMO

personally i think the FB pieces are best for the collection that has only 1 or 2 pieces from a line. Just as Id like to have one even though I dont have any other LOTR. Just this 1 bad-ass faux bronze stand-alone... :monkey1

Wow, that is very, very cool looking.

I feel bad for the people who weren't going to flip this and missed out.

Ugh, why does Yoda allow you to be a mod over at GGC is beyond me.

Compairing Grey Hulk to a faux bronze statue is like compairing a peach to a pork chop.

Yo DM, don't listen to this guy. People like him make me want to flip stuff even more! just to make them upset. :lol

Youre a great mod at GGC, no one can ever question that.

seldomly, unlike everytime a low es comes up, you're always boasting about, you got a order, big $$$ on ebay.:p

It's always OK for you to sell something for profit, but not for others. how tasteful.

:rotfl:lol@ the people who are dumb enough to think this will make a profit on ebay.

1) Lord of the Rings is not popular anymore.
2) Shipping, Paypal, and Ebay fees are a +++++.
3) If none of you really want to keep it than why would other people want to pay you more for it?
4) Just look at the Bronze Yoda vs. PooPoo dio.

I will be watching ebay when this ships. :rotfl:lol

I'm convinced, cancelled it.

Nah rory, this will gain a $125 profit easily out of the gate, and go up slowly from there. 50 is pretty hard to come by.

I think this will be good for at least $100.00.

OH MAN!!! Why is there always an uproar when a very limited piece sells out fast and flippers capitalize. In this world, you win some lose a lot that's the way it works. If someone wants to sell it for profit, by all means its totally up to them, I don't care, sure if i missed it, it would suck but hey that just means it wasn't meant to be, and anyways they're just toys :lol (as I read my fedex invoice):lol

We'll see. It has been my experience that a flip isn't even worth it if you won't make a bunch of money.

The time and effort involved is worth quite a bit as well. For example, being home to sign for the package, listing it on ebay, and then going to the post office or UPS store and standing in line to mail it off.

I have no problem with the flippers but I am just seeing this as a no money situation to be honest. LOTR has been on a heavy decline in popularity and to I don't see it picking up anytime soon. Plus, LOTR fans aren't like Marvel or Star Wars fans. There are fewer and they are older and stingier with their money.

Good luck guys. It sounds like more of a hassles than it is worth to me. :monkey5
