What was wrong with the Salvation ending?

Like the rest of the movie, it sucked.

Ends with the notion it's getting a sequel. When thankfully, it isnt.

Was that why? I thought it was because it sucked.

Actually.. it is. :lol

May/June 2010

Bale signed on to star in 3 Terminator movies. So at the very least.. he'll be in them. And it appears McG will be back as well. Sorry for the bad news. :lol

God. Dammit.

:slap

Gorramit.

It was supposed to be the first of a three part series. The second movie would've been a prequel and the third a proper sequel. But since the first movie bombed so badly (33 million dollar budget and it only grossed 10 million domestically and 19 million worldwide) all plans for further movies were scrapped.

Because it lacked Arnold?

I dunno, I think people are comparing it to the first two Terminator's too much (I'm ignoring T:3). It's really a different kind of film. Really feels like a stand alone move. And I think as such it works quite well. :dunno

Wasn't Arnold just a CG image? I mean he wasn't really a character in the movie. Am I wrong?:huh

Ah, I see the confusion now.

I have only been referring to Salvation. Arnold was only CG in that at the very end.

Yeah I didn't really like it. Maybe it was me, but it felt like they were trying too hard to be like Event Horizon with a twist ending.

Saw

Did Dr. Gordon survive? Will he be the new accomplice? We will find out in the final installment.

Because it has no soul, or emotion. The characters suck. Batman shouldnt have been in that movie. If only they got Christian Bale, the movie would've been good. But no...I dont know why people picked Batman to play John Connor.

Also, it showed that the machines werent really that much of a threat. Thanks to the nice PG-13 rating. Only to sell toys.....and did those toys sell?

:rotfl

Neither T3 nor Salvation had ambiguous endings. :lol

...unless you take the career of Nick Stahl into consideration.
