:lol Seriously though, as long as we play with spirit and challenge the other teams, I'll be happy

I think the Aussies have a decent shout to get out of that group. Holland aren't the team they were right now. There normally got a squad full of superstars but there just got RVP now & Wesley Sneijder who isn't what he was. There a young team in transition.

Chile will be tuff. There my favourites to get 2nd place but again the Aussies have a chance. If there to beat them there going to have to soak up a lot of pressure & hopefully nick a goal on the break or from a set piece.

When Australia play Spain chances are Spain will already have qualified & will probably play a weakened team

Its football anything can happen

Far crazier things have happened like Denmark & Greece winning the Euros :horror

Meh, goalkeeper or not, England's problem is psychological. They are a beautiful, tragic sporting nation where a gritty losing performance is like a warm blanket on a winter's night. Apart from a golden sporting period that included a rugby world cup, a historic Ashes win and a bunch of Olympic gold medals, the English have never been completely comfortable with victory :lol

They certainly lack a winning mentality, but they're increasingly lacking in quality players.

The Premier League is a very strong brand but virtually all of the best players are foreign imports and it's undoubtedly had an impact on the national side.

England will never win a cup with Rooney on the team. I know united fans worship the ground he walks on but he not the player they think he is. He should have been left home for a young developmental player.

You'd give Rooney the Landon Donovan treatment?

:woo Its finally here!! :yess: Have you got your seatbelt fastened tightly? Its the topsy turvy ride that is the FIFA World Cup!!! :rock Let the best team win :fireworks

Rooney seems to be taking some undeserved flack imo. If England are to be successful, and by that I mean the quarter finals or further, Rooney will play a big part in that. He's a quality player and we need him to be fit and playing to stand a realistic chance of doing anything in this WC.
