England have got to get Rooney out the team, its like playing with 10 men every game.
If Hodgson had any guts he would give him the hook.

Hodgson doesn't have the guts to drop Utd boys Rooney or Welbeck. Rooney has lost it big time and Welbeck is only in the squad because he plays for Utd.

I would also replace Henderson for Wilshere. Brings others into the game more.

Yeah Johnson has been playing unusual, giving the ball away to much and odd tackles.
But there's no suitable replacement for him unless you play Milner there.

They quicker we get Rooney out of the team the better!

just checking out the lay-out of the tournament come the latter stages and it would seem that groups A-D have the more significantly harder route through to the final with teams such as Italy, England, Spain, Holland and Brazil all possibly meeting in the Quarters or Semis whereas Groups E-H have a much more better chance of qualifying for the final (on paper that is) with only Germany, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium and France as the main favourites to qualify from their groups...

So if England win their group, the likelihood of them meeting the hosts Brazil in the Quarters is pretty much guaranteed...if England finish 2nd then they are likely to play Spain Now, talking as an Italy fan I think I'd rather take my chances of playing Spain rather than Brazil as you really want to stay away from the host nation...then again, your likely to meet them in the Semis anyway so it doesn't really matter...

as they say...to be the best, you have to beat the best! Fear no-one!!!

no, never been done before and also if Spain win they will be second ever team to successfully defend their title by winning the World Cup twice in succession. Only Brazil have ever done this if I'm not mistaken

Italy won the Cup in 1934 and again in 1938, they were the first to defend their title, I think you are right Brazil is the only other country to do so. Argentina came close in 1990 but were beaten by a bad penalty call.

Yea, Argentina came close in 90 but never deserved to win that final against Germany...one of the worse finals ever in the history of the a World Cup along with Spain and Holland in 2010.
