Disappointing result. Created so many chances but couldn't convert. We pushed Chile, and gave them a run for their money. Besides Cahill and Bresciano this team is very young and inexperienced, having only played a few games together. Well, the first half up until Cahill's goal was poor, there's no denying that. Bresciano took a long time to get into the game, Cahill was knackered in the last quarter of an hour. Just watching the Cameroon v. Mexico replay - Cameroon are really, really bad. African football has promised so much in recent world cups, but never really delivered. They're just too erratic, which is a shame, because when Cameroon, Senegal and Nigeria were on song in the past they were beautiful to watch.

Starting to get nervous about the game today this is always the worse part of the tournament for me...the performance of Italy is so important as I'll be able to tell right away if they are up for it or not. After watching the past few games I have to say that I'm not too confident in some of the referrees performances (including the linesmans) but it's a relief that we have a European referee (Dutch) in this game...that Japanese one in the Brazil game was hopeless

I've predicted a draw also but I have a strong feeling inside my Italian veins that Andrea Pirlo has an amazing free-kick up his sleeve
