Thanks superdoug. I won't lie, I am wearing out. Knowing a break is coming is working on me mentally, and I am quite tired. I may have to fold for the two weeks whether I am done with all this or not. I know you all know I'll be back. Besides, I think I'll be even more charged when I return, with even better work. So no worries all!

Here's one that taken some serious time...an ALIEN RESURRECTION leg redo...
(Not mine, it is for a member...hands and backtubes are temps for the owner's...)
Painted the tongue too so it was more AR accurate
LOTS more in progress. Hope I get more done before tomorrow.

That's the original head. Trust me cause it's mine. It will be my new favorite in my collection once it arrives.

Awesome, I think I'll have Les do mine over, I'm in a big time X-Files mood with the new movie coming, and that really looks like Mulder now. Congrats. I assume it's the suited first release and not HOME Mulder?

Thanks guys! Let me get out from under this workload, and while I am on my break, I will spell out what I did. The AR was a toughie. I thought I had him solved, but then, the doing was scary stuff. It all worked though, so I can do it again. But solving it the first go round, was scary.
The mid-leg is not posable of course, as it is a solid peice. The knees and feet still pose, and when you put it in that weird AR S-curve posture, you know why, it takes that to balance it. But it is cool once finished. It is also just as tall as it was. No shorter or taller than the AVP original, so it looks cool on the shelf. I plan on doing this to my brownie too, sometime.

Getting very tired. Today was a long day, and slow, and I am not up to speed at all.
I took a nap which felt weird, so I know I am wearing out. Time to stop for a while, finished or not. The only dissappointment I feel is that I wanted to be completely caught up when I took my break, but it just ain't happening. All those Nicholson Jokers, other heads, customs, and this seemingly endless row of Hicks have worn me out. So, I am gonna stop before I get sloppy. I would think no one wants that. And, like I said, I will be all the better after breaking for a while.
So, I'll try to get what I have done already, packed and shipped, and the rest, I am putting in a large plastic container, carefully of course, and putting it all out of the way, so I can clean up this room and garage. That's gonna take a lot of doing, so I will rest for about two days, then attack this cleanup like there's no tomorrow. I can't wait for the physical stuff, the actual work, not just sitting and painting. You get me. Action after a long period of inactivity.
Then, I'll be back.
Details as to what is shipped when I can. Then no painting for a while! I can already taste the Coronas!
Oh, and my garage sale! That will be in about a week and a half. Having a cool 1 year on YouTube anniversary video too! That will debut on April 20th! With another contest figure giveaway and more! So look for some FML FUN in the meantime! Shared with you guys!!!!!
