This week, especially today, was a new page in the Mama Saga. She is now officially set to go to not a nursing home, but an assisted living home. It is much nicer and more low key than the sterile environs of a nursing home. She has weeks to move in, so that helps, and we can take time and get her there in more style. She has a private room, so all is better than last go round.
NOT REPEATING JUNE! No way I ever wanna see that horrid month again!

So, with that ongoing, I will be working and packing and moving her again, and still am thinking of moving myself soon. That may happen by late summer for me. Anyway, just an update.

More to come. Lil Les has some friends! SOON!

Hi Les. Those "assisted living" facilities are MUCH better than nursing homes will ever be. I'm happy to hear that your Mom is going into one of those. It is the next best thing to having a care nurse 24/7 like my wife's Grandma did the last few years of her life. I hope and pray for the best care for your mother.

Maybe this will give you the chance to move out on your own. Then I think things will get much better for you if you had your own place. Just my "two cents" here, but I think that being on your own would give you the time and space to really do work on your heads that you've always wanted to do. Keep us posted on everything my friend.

I repainted my Han Solo. I like him better now. I'll post a pic or two over in the thread for him.

And I hope you do get to move out, it would not only give you some well deserved freedom but would give you time to do what you love without a hectic schedule from outside forces. And at least I would be available to come and spend a lot more weekends over there.

So, today was a holiday? REALLY? Didn't know that.
Have spent ALL DAY on heads. 85 on the table today. Working on all Hicks and Reeses, Roses, DeNiros, some assorted toughs, finished all dremels today, all Bales dremeled and paint started on those, Not all my Ledgers cast yet, but some base paint applied to a few to start those, all Hudsons in advanced shape, some Indys, some Bonds, a Largo, some Starks, couple of 9th Doctors, some putty heads including Chris Chulamanis who's still ongoing, a Padme, a Gampu, Drakes, Ripleys, Vasquezezes, Legolases, Lieas, Mr Hans, Serlings, a few privateish others, and my own Han Solo and Old Ben, along with another Old Ben also...

More in the lot to come, but those are all I can fit in today...
Soon some Preds, Aliens, some Alamo Mexicans, more guys and girls on bodies....it is all good....lots getting done!

Been a long day. Got shanghied by Ma most all day to help her get stuff for her upcoming move the the assisted living place. So I got less done today than yesterday...but I still did some minor work, then am settling in for bed. Long day of paints tomorrow.

your on the list Les , were gonna leave it 6 days from now just so everyone gets a chance to see it and join up before we ask Ada to start.

Alot of people have joined now , I think its gonna be like $20.00 each to make the actual sculpt then only $15.00 for the cast.
Probably even less by the end of the 6 days because more will most likely have joined up !

Bad headaches today, probably due to the weather (thunderstorms) and too many hours looking through lenses. But I am making headway. Head way....anyway....getting there on some of them. Look for pics soon. Keep meaning to shoot some new vids too. Will try.
More Mama-Drama tomorrow and days coming, as she moves out, again....she's been packing and moving clothes all about for days, can't stop her...dust is all stirred (that may be part of the headaches too) and she has been on her feet way too much. But, that won't last long.

Anyway, pics soon. Sorry about the headaches. Enjoying the other work I see around.

Don't you worry Les. Take care of your Ma first and foremost. All of us here understand. We'd rather wait longer and have a great repaint than have it sooner and have it rushed. You can't rush quality.

It was a stressfull holiday with some ups and downs and then I read this.

I gotta say though, I think after painting 85 heads my eyes and fingers would hurt too much to ever take that on again.
