I have a Licky Joker sculpt from C. Howes that I'm trying to get painted. Does anyone know of any painters on the forum who could do this or have experience with commisions? Kuato says he can't get to it so anybody else would help.

The "figuremaster" himself called me today. He said he's very busy with over 150 heads at one time. He is still having computer problems. He thought adding some new RAM memory cards would help, but it didn't. He assured me that he's working as hard and fast as he can. Still dealing with family issues too. He said he wished he could get away for about two months and just paint heads and listen to music. That sounds good to me. He said he went to Wal-Mart this morning and bought The Dark Knight. I got it too. I got the exclusive 2-DVD set with the Batman mini cowl bust at Best Buy. Very cool!

So he is checking in when he can. Hopefully he'll be back on here soon from his own computer at home.

By the way...he said everything is fine. He and I are all good.

Thats cool Mike...good to know FML has forgiven you over the emailgate scandal. Do you mind posting me his home address and bank details when you get a chance?! Only joking...i knew it was a storm in a tea cup and i'm glad you guys are still buddies

Hmmm....I'm not dead to Les Walker at least. He called me and talked to me about everything yesterday.

Well, that's if he had 200 bucks to spend. The man isn't exactly financially stable at the moment. He isn't ordering new stuff or anything either, he's had to cancel a lot of swag.

I told him he should just go get it wiped and rebooted.. it's a brand new computer afterall. But he doesn't even have the money to do that. On top of all of that stuff, he also can't get online to do any sales or commissions... It's a vicious cycle.

But I know for a fact he doesn't have 200 bones to blow on another computer, especially after bills, shipping costs, and gas money...

i wish i lived even in the same state, let alone the same country, as les. i'd drive down to his house and spend the whole day just sorting his computer out. i've done it for so many people in my city. i'm sure there are loads of computer-savvy folk on here. do any of them live anywhere near les? it would be so great if we could fix this for him.

maybe someone can walk him through how to back stuff up in command line (if he can get to that), and then reinstall windows.

I wish I knew more about computers than I do now. I live about 3 to 4 hours away from him. I haven't been to his house, but could find out from him how to get to it. I have some friends that work for the Geek Squad with me at Best Buy here.

I know what you mean. I wish I knew more about computers too. All I can ever do is go into Safe mode and reset to an earlier date.

Maybe I will see if that works for him, at least long enough to put a virus scanner on there and see if it can be purged. Worked for me.

Well, Wor-Gar suggested he replace the hard drive. That may be the best solution. He doesn't need a new computer IMO.

Also, in the meantime, some of us will be posting new updates from Les, with new pics, right here! So this train be a rollin'!
