I just hope all those rubber bodies survive the test of time. They might look fine right now, but in 10 years, or 20 years...? Like it or not, ALL rubber deteriorates over time. Even the newer polymers that use latex and/or silicone might delay the effects of aging, but nothing can prevent it entirely other than storing them in a perfect vacuum.

I refuse to buy any figure that uses rubber extensively. Others might disagree, but you can't argue with the science - rubber is NOT forever.

Is this Floor Wax?

I used this stuff.

Dunked all the white armor completely in a medium size bowl of this stuff(to get a clean perfect coat) and rested them to dry on hand formed foil supports.

I even find since i dunked everything in the wax, parts of the leg and arm armor fit better on the body because of the double coats i gave them.

I think you might be worrying to much. While I agree, it will loose its elasticity, it will never fully degrade, unless you try to pose the figure. My rule with rubber bodies is to keep posing to a minimum, and maybe 10 years down the line, no posing at all.

Didn't think about dunking them... good to know.

Love his arms... I don't need him to be articulated like Spiderman :lecture

I traded a fellow board member a HT Clark Kent for Dutch. I liked Clark a lot but I have no regrets about adding Dutch to compliment my Predator. Besides, I had all the 2 in 1 Superman/Clark stuff sitting around going to waste. I just threw it all on a TT and that too the place of the Clark on my Superman shelf.

Yes, very good to know, thank you.

Just make sure if you do it, use tweezers to handle each piece including the helmet and when removing a piece from the bowl, do it very slowly to make sure no bubbles get on the piece, if so then blow on it or give it another coat.

Its nothing really to worry about though, just make sure you give each piece atleast two coats with waiting maybe a good 5hrs between each coat.

Thanks Valfar, I'll get this over the weekend and will do it for sure. I'll let it sit overnight. Thanks again for the info. :joy

I would say you came out on top on that one. :D

Darkness PF, Buffy PF, AH comiquetts, SDCC Bertie, some SW 12" all will be listed fairly soon.

Yeah same here. Most all of my 1:6 figures get posed and stay that way for quite awhile unless they come with a ton of accessories like Blade did. That figure gets changed around quite a bit!

What's wrong with Darkness I've never seen him in person.

and AH! all those are freaking sweet :drool

Oh.. there's nothing wrong with any of the ones I listed.. they are all awesome in their own way. Just my displays have changed where they don't fit in anymore so I'll need to unload them sometime.

Too bad I can't into the Future! :lol

Neca's Hannibal Lecter and Pinhead 18 inches. Lecter boring character, Pinhead terrible paint job. And that stupid sound chip with phrases ughhh....
