Hot Toys Dutch.

Beautiful figure, but I was never entirely satisfied with it. Those rubber bodies are too limited and knowing that it will eventually rot away and/or tear convinced me to sell it.

I agree. Sold mine off aswell.

GREAT! Just bought one yesterday...should be here by Friday.

That's great to hear, haha.

Oh well, it was either him or Machiko and I went with the movie theme overall.

No worries. All my Rocky's and Rambos are rubber bodies and they look Spectacular!:monkey3

It's hard to say... I've been unimpressed by figures when I initially get them in hand but after some work they suddenly become everything I wanted. SS Stormtrooper and Indiana Jones were both pretty rough right out of the box. The Stormtrooper needed quite a bit of work to get just right, but once it was done I was really happy. Indy is still an ongoing process. I've swapped bodies, touched up paint, weathered and tweaked the hell out of that figure.... I still have more to do but it's still one of my favorites.

No question for me...I spent $190 on Hot Toys Joker V1. A few weeks later they announced the upgraded DX version. Long story short...I was pretty ticked off.

About the Stormtrooper, i totally agree.

Shine him up with Future Wax and reform the chest plate, paint the aerators, tighten the joints and its much much better, straight out of the box it looks horrid. I also ripped the stupid elastic going across the shoulder bells off and cut the elastic and glued separate pieces of it into the shoulder bells to slide on indiviually and it also improves the look and articulation.

Hey man, that Stormtrooper you have there looks AMAZING!

:clap

I've heard lots of people talk about how it needs a lot of work and so forth but don't remember seeing a pic of one afterwards. Congrats.

Good to hear about the Dutch. I was mostly worried about the body as this will be my first rubber body figure. Alright.....BRING ON FRIDAY!

Yeah, Dutch would never be a regret. Do kind of wish he had benefited from the newer bodies like Wolverine or the Comedian. But still; as is he is all kinds of awesome.

Sideshow Indy eventually became a regret... out of the box just too many problems. Sold him and went with the PF instead.

I agree with Galactiboy, Indy (too loose, bobble head) and Belloq (too plain, boring, bad paint aps.) were huge disappointments for me. I haven't gotten an SS figure since.

Another disappointment for me was the PF Panhandling Dr. Zaius. The pose is all wrong and for those that didn't get the exclusive, this figures looks funky with the pose SS gave him.

I have the Emperor on pre-order but am not really sure if I need, or even want this figure anymore.

Vader, Stormies, Ben, Luke, Han, and Leia are all I really need from this license. SW aliens are always welcome but I'm done with the human figures.

Dutch just needs to look at me and that's enough... Unless a Predator comes at me in my own home then I might need him to be more articulated.
