Depends on how much you paid + shipping, there are some stores in China still have cloud+daytona for sale but of coz at higher price

From my understanding, some businesses are using 4PX and other similar shipping services for delivery/tracking where shipment from Hong Kong to the mainland China occurs, then onto to the US (for US orders) where the shipment is transferred to the USPS upon reaching customs/clearing customs.

At the same time, how and why certain HK vendors continue to claim COVID delays/lock downs as the reason for delays when other vendors were able to ship out without issues because there was no delay/lock down at the time?

Cloud/Daytona seems to be in stock at Gundamit. I actually have not bought from there before so I can't vouch for it...I only have a deposit with them for Zack and 2nd Class body because I missed it with every other store.

Apologies if you made this yourself, but do you have a link for that head sculpt? Wouldn't mind upgrading my VTS Cloud and that looks pretty damn good.

As far as I know there is delivery to HK but no pick up yet.

From everything Kit has said, TW never purchased any units of Cloud directly from GameToys. GameToys wanted a deposit and TW refused to pay it, and so no orders were placed. It's possible some people did receive their orders, but they would have been after market sales, buying from local vendors who did place an order with GT, and then reselling it overseas, which TW is known to do for Hot Toys. Once the prices at local vendors got too high (which they quickly did, as this figure proved to be really popular), that become untenable and now people have gone months and months getting emails claiming the manufacturer delayed the product, which we well know to be a lie considering all the other stores already received their allotment.

I'd be willing to chalk this whole thing up to a one time fluke, but now we also have Queen Studios, an officially licensed brand that is allowed to operate out in the open, directly warning buyers not to purchase from stores that price their figures lower than the competition because they may not receive their figures, as a response to local consumers flooding their social media with messages about TW. Reading between the lines, it sounds to me like TW has refused to pay the deposit for the Queen Joker, too, so Queen can't guarantee that TW will get their stock.

At this point, it's a difficult position to be in considering pre-orders for Zack (and AC Cloud) have closed everywhere else, but it is very much a gamble to send any more money to TW at this point in time. Even if the store recovers and they fulfill Zack, I still wouldn't trust them with any future orders, because Cloud and seemingly Joker have set a precedent that they could do this again at any time.

This debacle is a very expensive, hard, and painful lesson for many who lost $ with no recourse for any refund and missing out on a highly sought after wanted figure.

I've observed similar instances throughout the years, but never of this magnitude affecting collectors, vendors, and distributors due to the questionable business practices of one prolific reseller/vendor.

There will be those who'll learn from this and never repeat such a poor decision, but there will be those who'll repeat making such a poor decision again simply due to the lure of a cheap price.

It wasn't the price for me,I waited my local vendor which I shop everything and never had any problem,he just didn't find him and we sadly went with then.
Money was never an issue for me for cloud collectibles I paid way more money than the whole game toys set for my customs

From what I am hearing from Kit. It sounds like TW is operating under poor business management. It's like a contractor building a house and realizing they ran out of money building a roof for house #1 so they took money from the house #2 budget to cover the house #1 roofing budget. And then they said they would recoup that initial loss with the money they make in profit on house #2. Problem is, this only flies once or twice in a nightmare scenario. If this behavior repeats then you dig deeper and deeper until you can't get out and can't pull the capital from another job to cover the initial one and someone's left holding the bag. And with how big they are, this could be a massive bag.

I have absolutely no basis for this statement but it gives me that feeling.

Is it possible that TW has inventory coming and there's some weird shipping hold up? Maybe. But it's feeling really sketchy and unlikely the more they drag their feet.

@Kit Chen if you can source one locally for around that 400USD you mentioned I'd like to take you up on that offer. I can order through your site or PayPal. Just let me know and I'll email you.

I believe if they were ever going to get stock from GameToys it would have been three months ago. And Kit has said he's contacted GameToys and they aren't planning on doing a second run at this time, which means if TW is holding out hoping for a second wave, one doesn't appear to be coming.

They delay month to month,so probably they will keep doing that even for a year?waiting?

The reality is the writing is on the wall.

Anyone believing/holding out/hoping that TW will miraculously receive their shipment is in for an unpleasant awakening/realization if they're still not awake/realize what is going on.

Moreover, anyone advocating/convincing others it's still a possibility for TW to receive their shipment for whatever reasons in light of the evidence cannot be taken seriously.

If TW is refusing to pay for the stock and then still charging for the figures once they release they are commiting fraud and they will never ship your figures, pursue any available means to get your money back now because only a few local chinese stores are still carrying Gametoys figures and Gametoys themselves have no plans to do a second run any time soon, TW will never get their stock in.

We have them carrying the second batch of The Gunslinger as well, because Justin has directed tons of people to their page I doubt they will pay for their stock and if they don't, they won't get it plain and simple, please tell your friends and newcomers to the hobby to avoid them at all costs, go with One Sixth Kit or Giantoy and put in a PO for these type of figures as soon as they're up on those sites.

Prior to that I was mostly ordering Hot Toys from sideshow the previous year and hadn't entered into the third party market. But now here we are. I already asked for a refund, hopefully that goes through. I really want this figure.

To be fair TW has only begun to do very shady stuff recently, but Justin shouldn't be promoting them anymore regardless of whatever agreement they have, the fact he's still sending people to that site to possibly get scammed and advertising them in every video speaks volumes.
