That's why Tifa's HS is disappointing, especially for a prototype.
I saw the same criticisms on a Chinese forum, about the HS and especially the mouth, which is we have to admit, a big failure

I replayed the bar scene and can confirm that GT completely dropped the ball with Tifa's face

• Lips not thick enough
• Mouth too wide
• Cheekbones too strong
• Nostrils should be thicker, nose ends in too tall of a point and is too close to the mouth
• Eyes should be wider by 2mm
• Eyebrows need to be moved 1.32mm up forehead and end in a leveled point closer to the hairline
• Hair spike in front should have a taller apex
• Sideburns too shaggy, not long enough
• Earring too big
• Hairline looks too much like Vegeta
• Why does he look so angry? He never looks like that in-game, I’m scared

Better hope trash day is soon, this is “ a big failure”

You’re the only one ascribing all the issues to the figure’s stoic facial expression, which is proof of some very keen observational skills, I might add.
But the dramatic, crybaby attitudes pointing fingers at perceived minor flaws and ridiculing the entire product as some uniquely horrible failure that no other GT products have had yet, aren’t adding anything to the conversation but obnoxious whining.
I’m not “missing the point” at all; your astute detective work has just happened to glance over the actual point being made.

So long as Tifa doesn't share the same problems thar Zack had on release, I'll be fine. I remember when I completely mangled the ball socket inside his headsculpt trying to remove it and felt straight up depressed because his head sat way too low on his neck. Luckily I had an extra one at home and it ended up working out, but pair that up with the fact his neck & body are all stained under his hastily dyed black clothes, it was just a mess of a release.

We are all being pretty nitpicky with Tifa right now but I know her in-hand photos will be amazing and if she doesn't share these same issues, she'll be amazing. They did mention her body is resistant to staining, I just hope that's true... I can remove stains from plastic figures. Dunno how to remove it from medical grade silica gel.

I agree that this Tifa isn’t without it’s flaws but it is darn well the best Tifa out there in the market.

Don’t really expect the headsculpt to get improved, as long as it doesn’t get any worse than the promotional picture then it’s already a win.

A lot of debate regarding gt tifa in gt group too.
but i saw one of the member reply to those hater：

why not just wait for the final product released then only buy it？
worry about the jacked up price when you want it？
regretting it why dint you preorder earlier？
thats the risk you have to take when you preorder it.final product will always be different from prototype.

btw，superduck release new ac tifa ，and pt wanted to release tifa head 2.0 ，both news release after gt release. Same day.

pt head only 1400rmb vs gt 1580rmb whole set.

regarding the pricing, expensive? For you maybe. Tifa use full silicone body, compared to ac cloud half body silicone. ac Cloud pricing 1380rmb. And that was 2022. Inflation happen ,plus with the affection of war.

but think , how many year more can you wait before the [omg,thats the 100%perfect tifa that everybody like!] 1/6 action figure got release?

Everyone has their own preference, and that's totally cool. But there is no way anyone is going to choose that new Superduck AC Tifa over the GT release. I mean, come on...

It's gonna be a long wait ... is GT Tifa shipping yet? Come on I'm ready!

Not sure what new product to anticipate now. Maybe I'll go back to wishing for a Final Fantasy Kotobukiya Bishoujo line...
