Firefly and Serenity discussion thread

Didn't see a thread for the show or movie at all. Anybody else a fan? (couldn't find a proper show or film discussion thread in Whedonville either)

Almost done with Firefly and I'm loving it so far. I have about three more episodes to go until I start the film.

Decided to give the show a chance after seeing what an awesome job Whedon did with the Avengers and I'm glad I checked it out.

It's a brilliant series. I have a few friends that were bored in the first episode. Then they got a few more into it and were hooked. I was hooked from minute 1.

Mine is Out of Gas. War Stories and The Message come next.

They are hard to compare, but I can't think of another show that's in the same league as either of them. You can't really compare either of them to anything else.

Walking Dead is the best tv I've seen since Firefly.

Out of Gas is fabulous. I love going back to see everything. Such an important episode. But Ariel, to me, was so much fun.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite episode, but if i had to right now off the top of my head, I'd go with Jaynestown.

Yes, TWD is better than Firefly (the ratings prove that). But Firefly is definitely highly underrated and up there in the upper echelon of television.
