i bought dracula SSE without even knowing it was a sideshow product. i seen Drac on the shelf at a Suncoast Video store and said man i have got to have that and bought it for 29.95. first purchase from sideshow directly was the Green Goblin.

The first series of 8" Uni Monsters. I only have the Monster and the Bride now. :monkey2

It was out of either Drac, Frank or Wolfie, and the Frank sculpt owned my A$45. Even though he is green.

January 2006 i believe. Darth Vader PF, Waitlist that converted a week later. couldn't believe I was spending so much for a collectible but it was the best Vader I had ever seen so it was o.k.

I think 1/6 Jedi Anakin was my first purchase. I knew what the company made but had never seen anything that I really wanted. I guess I showed up with the rest of the Star Wars party. Funny thing is, I've completely kicked my Star Wars habit but I'm still buying Sideshow stuff.

Jen and Kira Dark Crystal 12" from Ebay.

That was way before any of my LOTR or Marvel collections. Wish I had looked up the webpage back then, probably same time Doom and IM were being released.

it was either the 12" color Vampyre from Suncoast or the MontyPython Knights from Spencers...

My first direct Sideshow purchase was...

Star Wars 12-inch Figures Jedi Luke Skywalker - Sideshow Exclusive (1)

Date Placed: 2005-11-11 21:01:42

Subtotal: $49.99
Tax (Est.): $0.00
Ship (Est.): $8.25
Grand Total: $58.24

But I bought a Blackbeard figure a few months before that on eBay.

First product ordered: Jason X exclusive. I couldn't believe there was a company out there making such badass product.

First product owned: Pam Voorhees and pt VII Jason. People say what they will about Pam; mine didn't have a super-glossy head. With those two products, I knew I would be bound to Sideshow forever.

The following spring brought Jason X and Jedi Luke. I've never seen 12" action figures so finely made. The rest is history.

Despite the ^^^^^ing about certain faults (Subject 805), I'll always look back at that time as when one company's product inspired me so much, I decided to take up a hobby.

This is going to sound really stupid, and make it sound like I have no life (I do, promise) but Spooktacular 2005 (about the time all this went down) changed my life.

Mine was the 8" Creature figure... the second was an Ermey figure bought as a gift for my brother. Then the 1/6 Color Vampyre was the next one I got for myself. After that the rest was history.

First purchase direct King Elessar Statue December of 2003. First in hand piece Strider SSW statue December 2003.
