By the way, Joost, in your infinite spare time (LOL) By my tally you may still owe us a peek at the final ceiling for this bad boy!

...unless maybe I missed it.

Hey Joost. Any other franchises you may tackle in the future?? How about Marvel??

Hey Joost, I know that you have several more 1/6 dioramas in the works but have you thought about doing anything in other scales down the road. I have a bunch of 1/10 scale Kotobukiya Star Wars figures that need background walls. Something similar to the walls in your Death Star diorama would be awesome.

Not speaking for him but he was asked this a lot on his YouTube channel. He responded the 1/6 scale was a more premium space for him to offer these types of scenes and he felt this type of collector would be willing to pay for the cost of the projects.

You have to remember he isn't having hundreds of these made and small runs hold significant cost for workspace time on machines and bits, prints etc. for what he is offering I would tend to agree with his position.

I have a TruScale Tantive IV on order... Thanks for your input.

Can't wait to see your pics, Hokie!

That 80cm depth version is what I hope to bring home as well. I'm starting with the 47cm first to see how that works with my space, and if all goes well, the extension module will follow! So I'll be hanging on your every shot of the ultimate to see what I'm in for!

Yeah my dood!:hi5:

I've not been this excited for displaying something since the Iron man 7-Bay Hall of Armor. Last week I was piecing together stormtroopers from HT ANH, R1 buckets and Sideshow armors to try and give a flavor of different trooper looks for the diorama. Started looking over the rebel fleet troopers and contemplating head and body swaps for them. I bought some Rit dye for the outfit to get that deeper navy look, I think it will help hide a lot of the cloth stitching imperfections with darker color shirt and pants.

Just a few things to consider, please remember to remind me you already have the 47 cm version if you order the extra kit. I'll need to ship different middle columns that have slots on both sides for the aluminium walls.

Also, the people that order the ultimate 80 cm version will get a different kit where the outside panels and the ceiling are one piece to eliminate as many panel gaps as possible
