Re: Hulk Movie Abomination pic!!!!!!

I agree with Fube. I'm not digging the look at all.

Re: Hulk Movie Abomination pic!!!!!!

I wonder how true to film it is though. Not many of the Eric Bana Hulk toys really looked like him from the screen.

Re: Hulk Movie Abomination pic!!!!!!

This toy doesnt look like Abom at all...:monkey4

So why did my post get puyt into this one? They are two different kinds of posts. So where do I put the news that Kotobukiya is going to do Iron Man and Hulk Figures? Do I put that here since apparently this is everything to do with the hulk movie or do I put it in a post about Iron man or do I put it in a post about Kotobukiya? I think there is some strange thought to organization going on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :emperor

Word...........

I just merged the two threads because the picture had already been posted and was being discussed in this thread (see post #14 and following). I was just trying to keep the discussion in one place so everybody would catch all the comments about this movie related image when two discussions were going to develop at the same time in two different places.

Maybe we should start a thread devoted to non-Sideshow Hulk movie merchandise?

If I see "Hulk Movie Abomination pic!!!!!!" and "First Two Photos from Incredible Hulk Movie" then it looks like two Hulk movie picture threads are getting started and my first instinct is to merge them.

Sorry, gotta agree slightly with Tom's grouping...

Discussions get missed when similar threads are running.

I'm sure the character will be cool on screen but my first thought was that he looked like the bad guy from "The Keep"

https://www.emuchrist.org/kingdomcronos/images/movies/The Keep/keep2.jpg

Sometimes when they try to reinvent the wheel things just don't look right. Maybe if they added the scaly horn/fin like things on his head he'd look better.

Also, is it just me or does it look like his ribcage is a mouth?!?!

Whatever... All I know is he doesn't look like Abomination from the comics. It's still too early to judge based on some crappy photo of a toy.

Swamp Thing...yes...I knew there was something else besides "The Keep" that reminded me of Abomination.

So sad. The comic version was one of my favorites:

i really hate how all these movie creators decide to change things.

I agree with you Master Monkey, i hate when they stray away from the comic versions of these characters.

The Incredible Hulk Trailer Coming Early March
Source: Advanced Dark February 19, 2008

Marvel Entertainment announced its fourth quarter and full year operating results this morning, and with it came the news that you'll be seeing the first trailer for The Incredible Hulk in early March. Our guess is that it will hit theaters with Warner Bros.' PG-13 rated 10,000 B.C. on March 7 (if that's true, make sure you call your theater to see if the trailer is playing with the showtime you're thinking of attending, as it will likely not be on every screen) and then with the R-rated Universal (the studio releasing "Hulk" in theaters) pic Doomsday on March 14.

Also, it was revealed that, because of the writers strike and possible actors strike, Marvel Studios will have one in-house release in the later part of 2009, instead of two like this year (Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk), but it's anyone's guess right not if that is Ant-Man, Captain America, Thor or The Avengers. We have a feeling (again, this is not official) that it will be the Matthew Vaughn-directed Thor, but we'll see. In 2010 and onward, they expect to release two films per year again.
