I will have him sign this, and ask if he will have a tequila shot with me, or whatever alcohol they will serve at the dinner.

That will look great. I'd kill to have a Raiders record signed by him.

He's a 12" vinyl figure. Imported from Japan and was $200.

Diamond has actually started distributing them to the U.S. for lower prices. They just put out the '74 Mechagodzilla, which I already got years ago. Entertainment Earth has him for $150, which is still a lot for a vinyl figure.

Damn, too rich for my blood. I'll just stick with my Shogun Godzilla. I'd love for someone to do a a Mechagodzilla in the Shogun style. Now that I would pay $$$ for.

That would be pretty cool. Do you have the Rodan too? I wish I had that one.

Nope. I just wanted Godzilla because I remember a friend having one as a kid and I always wanted it. It was and still is HUGE.

If I was a kid in the 70s and found this under the tree, I'd have a heart attack.

Just filed my claim for the damages caused from the basement sewer overflow... $700 worth of toys water damaged! Not that many items but some of them are worth a lot more than I thought they were?!

I wonder what they do if it's a 1 of a kind item like a prototype?

I've had 2 chances to buy one of my ultimate grails, an Aviva Dark Crystal carded prototype and even though I was low on funds at the time I often worried about what would happen if something damaged or destroyed it. I'd be devastated.

Yo-Yo Ma. :lol

Si si! lol!!!

Poor guy is gonna be all neglected when they come to my table. I have no idea about any of his work except he plays a mean cello.

Hopefully I can meet a sugar mama at the dinner! I bet it's gonna be all high class film snobs and all. Hopefully a chica that loves Jurassic Park as much as I do!

So awesome! :thud:

Is he guaranteed to sign something for you, or are we just hoping?

Yeah if you bring something he'll sign it. It's a 2 hour dinner after the concert and everyone that goes to the dinner will have time with both Williams and Yo Yo. :lol:lol

It depends. Usually you can choose to keep the items and take a portion of the $.

You can keep it, and take part of the $. If you take the full amount, they get the figure...essentially so they can salvage sell it and get some of their $ back.

I've asked about this before cause I've got some one of a kind and one of 10 etc items, that I don't think I could ever find or replace again if something happened to them. And she said you could choose to keep it and get a % of the value for it instead of the full amount.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Screw you guys. I have to work tomorrow. I am off on Friday, but had to use a vacation day. It isn't a provided holiday for us.

I'm here today and Friday.

Here are my two lastest 12" X-Plus Godzilla figures. Spacegodzilla is awesome. Kiryu is kind of meh. Sorry for the dark pics. I wish I had better lighting. Maybe I'll take a few more shots during the day when I'm off this weekend.

Very cool ! You need this shirt !
