re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I have a request for all of the Secret Santa people. I may be throwing in a very special item into my gift package. So I want to ask the following question:
Of the final 17 Kenner vintage figures, what are your TOP 3 favorites, in order of preference? Please post your answers in this thread.

If you have no interest in vintage, you can mention that as well... Of course, only one person's answer matters to me, but I look forward to seeing all of your answers.

Well, I was born in 1985, so they were a bit before my time, but here are my top three in order:

1. Amanaman
2. Yakface
3. Barada

What's weird is that I was 6-7 when POTF came out and I have no recollection of seeing them in stores and don't have any of the figures in my childhood collection. Actually I don't have any of them now either. I really need to start working on my full set.

As a kid looking for Star Wars figures, all they had were the bendy guys. It wasn't until the POTF2 line came out when I was about 9 that I actually was able to get some proper Star Wars toys.

1. General Lando (it's mother-****ing Lando!)
2. Luke in Poncho (it's Jedi Luke!)
3. Anakin Skywalker (It's Luke's dad!)

POTF2 is what got me back into collecting Star Wars and toys in general. I'll never forget walking into Walmart and seeing the rack full of the first wave. Thoughts of my childhood hit me like a ton of bricks and I was instantly hooked again.

1. General Lando (it's mother-****ing Lando!)
2. Luke in Poncho (it's Jedi Luke!)
3. Anakin Skywalker (It's Luke's dad!)

I struggled with adding Lando and Stormtrooper Luke to my list. Good choices!

I saw these in Target-- Took all my willpower to walk away. Having my better half with me helped to steer me towards another direction--- little did she realize it was to the toy aisle. :wink1:

Target! I was Christmas shopping. Got a WiiU for the two of us from Santa. ;)

Ahhh Target ! I will have to check mine tonight. If not I will let you know ASAP bro if you don't mind.

I am old school and have super fond memories of the originals.

Mine would be:

  1. Hammerhead
  2. Darth Vader
  3. Han Solo

Well, okay - I am working on a little print for my online buddies for Christmas, or if Jesus is not your cup of wine, whatever you do celebrate. If anyone is interested just PM me your address. Here's a work-in-progress taste -

Just something for folks who keep this board cool while other people mostly just complain that the Hulk/Banner accessories are all from other sets or that they aren't getting the Hulk/Banner accessories, or both.

Very awesome ! Count me in ! PM Sent.

"If it's not Jurassic Park, it's extinct." I still remember the old tagline from the toy commercials. I miss my JP toys. :monkey2

I don't have any of them yet so any would be good. But my top 3 to get would be:

Stormtrooper Luke
Yak Face
Han in Carbonite

Amanaman being 4th

Knucklehead, those aren't in the final 17! :screwy:

That was a bad time for us... I didn't even know they existed for a long time. :monkey2

Still don't so I can't really comment. :monkey2:monkey2
