It's hard because the graphite reflects light, so I darken it to get the look of those areas evened out but then the areas that are not reflecting light lose detail, like the belt area.

Agreed. #1. The others are too light to catch the details.

Anyway you can scan it? Maybe take it to Kinko's and use their copier to scan it to a .jpg file and email it to yourself. That's what I do here at work a lot.

Probably wouldn't be a problem as long as a few other small things were tossed in. Maybe just include a note that says "Santa doesn't have time to run all over town looking for your gifts, go find them yourself!"
