My mom had health issues with my brother before he was born and needed hot toddys to get over the pain.
Long story short, he grew up to like alcohol.
I have grown to hate the Landing's bar scene, going there multiple times over the past 10(?) years.
Now I just hit the casino. I must be getting old.

Yeah, this time of year downtown St.Louis has alot going for it. Just depends on what's going on but you have SLU not too far away and you have alot of that crowd. Baseball is always a large draw but thats more on the South end of downtown. Which, if your trying to tour the Anhueser Busch Brewery, just head south down Broadway, you pass through Soulard (Mardi Gras/Frenchtown) a little ways, and then you'll run right into it. I think the Lemp Brewery is still doing Haunted Tours because theres a whole urban legend thing at this time of year. You'll be on the North end of down where Laclede's Landing is just East/Center of where your staying. Think of right where the Arch is. After you get tired of that, don't forget ol' Sauget, most of the clubs on the East Side are 24hrs. "Pop's" can be fun, but it can also get hoosierville if thats your thing
