re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Sorry to barge in.

Going out on a limb here. Looking for a couple of SS 1/6 Scale SW accessories:
1) ANH Old Ben Unignited Lightsaber Hilt
2) CW General Kenobi Exclusive Captain Rex Hologram

I'm keeping an eye on eBay and have written to SS CS with no luck. Any suggestions as to other places to look/inquire would be helpful.

Thanks

There's a SW Trade thread in the SW Custom figure section, post there then try posting in the WTB area of the Commerce section. :wave

The drive into work was treacherous. I really should have just called in. That's what a lot of people did.

And like that... Ben's collections budget explodes !

Oh man, he's gonna orgasm so much! :lol

I actually already knew about this months ago because I saw in trade show news that Sideshow had acquired the rights to Legendary Godzilla. Still, it feels pretty good to see the announcement. This may be what pushes me to finally sell my Conan: The Prize and Ninja Turtle maquettes. I wonder if they're going to do a big one in the same size range as the premium formats or if he'll be about the same size as the Pacific Rim maquettes.

Cantina and yet another version of AT-AT and Stardestroyer? Can't wait to see these.
The AT-AT has 1138 pieces. I wonder if that was intentional. Maybe it had 1132 pieces and they said, hey we should try to add 6 more to reach that magic number! Or, perhaps it had 1145 pieces, and they cut 7 crucial pieces to reach that number. :monkey3

Yeah, the storm really sucks. I know you got it worse than I did,, and it's still bad up here... Drive safe!
As for Godzilla, I hope it's all affordable, cuz I'm sure you're gonna want it all! :lol

More like they were at 1130 pieces and figured by getting to 1138, they could get $5 more bucks out of you. :wink1:

They're saying there could be another 10" of lake effect snow just today as well. I have a feeling the drive home is going to suck today.

I hope so too. I wouldn't mind if they're in the Pacific Rim scale and priced the same. If they did him in the big maquette 20"+ range, he'd probably cost $1,500.

May as we'll sell the Turtle stuff. At least you'll get a good return on your investment, and you won't need to worry about Leo anymore.

Glad you got to work okay, Ben. The weather here has been crazy nice, of course that means we're just months away from drought talk and increased prices on fruits and veggies. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Toy Anxiety and Monkey Depot part stuff out, but I'm not sure they'd have much from older releases.

Kenner Ewok Village? B-Wing Fighter? Desert Skiff? Rebel Transport?

Watch my eBay feed. :lecture

You know I want the Ewok Village. How much?

Be safe dude! Work is nothing worth risking your life over.

We're still waiting for it to hit. Since i'm at the shore it's so unpredictable. One minute they're saying 8-12" and the next a light dusting. I give up trying to track it. We have a family party planned for Sunday, I just hope it doesn't prevent people from coming.

Shutty you ! Go back to haunting ! :p

Beware or I'll haunt your basement and you'll never be able to watch movies or enjoy your collection!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Went to bed last night with no snow on the ground, and woke up to over 6" on the ground and not a single road plowed!? Still coming down pretty good outside as well. It all hit so fast.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Holy smokes. Sealed sets have been selling for $300. :thud:

Well then I'm out. I thought you said like $150 a few months ago though I'm probably confused with something else. You'll do well on eBay then.

I'll probably just work on my figure set.

I'll have to check my spreadsheet at work, but I paid around $150. I'd be glad to sell it to you for what I paid since I know you've been on the lookout for it and love Ewoks like no other. :monkey3

Oh man, I can't wait to build some Lego sets! The Delorian should be here tomorrow and Dol Goldur next Wednesday. :D It was weird not building a big set this Christmas... It became my Christmas night tradition. Put a movie on after Gabe and Rhonda head up to bed and build till my eyes blur. :lol

:rock :rock :rock

I had 2 and half weeks off. I put together the Creator Grand Emporium, Firehouse and the Palace Cinema. I got the Horizon Express for Christmas but I haven't put it together yet. I need to plan all of the tracks I want to get for it.
