We'll take the double well wishing!

The well wishes and mad sex we're gonna have is gonna lead to a quick recovery!

Waller, here is the cardboard display scene I have. I knew it wasn't the Cantina.

this is awesome!

You guys will get a kick out of this. My youngest daughter, almost 3, has been obsessed with Yoda lately. We went to Target the other day and she had to have a Yoda cup and sticker book. We got home and she was dancing around the house singing "I love Yoda! I love Yoda!" My wife and I were cracking up. So Sunday I walked into the Toy Show and this was the first thing I saw at the dealer across from me:

pamarahy.jpg

It's cardboard and about 3 feet tall. I was afraid to ask but the guy said $5 and I couldn't pay fast enough. I walked into the house with it and Emily freaked out, it was so cute. We keep him in the living room and every so often she'll go over and give him a hug and a kiss. :)
Sweet you're raising her right!
Great find on the Yoda cardboard!

Thanks for the well wishes, Barry :)

Anyone here had their gallbladder removed???

My brother had his removed a couple years ago... he didn't seem to have any issues and still runs marathon's and eats crazy food. So no downside in his case.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

It has been broughten!
Thanks, buddy! Only you and Ben love me...

I really got eight? Thanks fellers. :D
We're welcome!

Guy's picking his nose on the bus... I need a car!!!

Damn that's beautiful! When I bought that dude's collection, I got several cardboard playsets, but I don't think I got this one... I really really want to own all of the playsets...

a few things................
+25 rep points to UT for the awesome contest.........:woo
-25 rep points for UT for not drawing my number........:cuss
Repped you for giving, and taking away, UT's rep! :lol

Proofread your posters!! "While YOUR in my dark service..." It's YOU'RE!! :gah: Someone needs fired. :lol
That really is a pet peeve of yours! But "someone needs fired"??? You need to proofread as well! :lol

The Sears Cloud City playset. Nice! I have one of these sealed I might drop on eBay some time.

I'd like to know why Kenner thought Dengar belonged in this set. :lol
How much??? As for Dengar, maybe Kenner had their hands on an early draft of the script, when Dengar also went to Cloud City, just like IG-88 did.

Thanks for the well wishes, Barry :)

A friend of mine did. It not a terrible surgery. I wish your wife a quick recovery.

MINE! :thwak When your daughter is done with it, I claim it!!! Sorry, but I'm a bit jealous... I never find cool stuff like that at toy shows. However, I did just acquire some standees for $5 as well. But I bought them from a friend. They are Pepsi Episode 1 standees. I got Watto, Jar Jar, and a broken Darth Maul. Pics coming up! Speaking of the toy show, how did you do? Sell a lot, I hope? Mine is this coming Sunday...

how awesome is ricardo flosarita?

if topps ever needs stickmen drawn i can draw the **** out of those........:lecture
His cards are awesome! Some of them are 100% PERFECT!!! He also put more detail than many other artists will. Some of them phone it in...

i read somewhere (probably the internetz) that upon recovery it will be required to have lots of sex to make up for the lack of a gallbladder. there was a lot of smart fancy doctor words and what nots but the bottom line is your wife will require to be done multiple times daily..........tell her the internetz says so.......:lecture

I knew you'd get a kick out of that Yoda. I was totally shocked to find it, there wasn't anything else like it there so it was fate.

As for how I did, not too well. The crowds were low probably because of the weather and also someone else decided to put on a Comic Con the same day and when people see those two words put together they gravitate like a moth to flame... The people that were there just weren't buying much. Most of what I sold was modern stuff which is surprising since this show is great and known for vintage stuff. Case in point, my buddy brought a MOTU Eternia with the box. Normally that would have been gone within 10 mins of the doors opening but it sat the whole day.

Sorry you didn't make very much, Titus. That is a pretty cool standee for your daughter, though.

Damn, that sucks. I was looking forward to you saying "I sold 75% of what I brought, and made a lot of $$$" cuz that would make me feel better going into my upcoming show... I really don't know what to expect. I'm bringing a LOT. Don't know if it will all fit on the table or not. I pray that I'll sell at least half of it. I just want it GONE! I may not bring my complete vintage figures. I feel I can do better on Ebay. But I will post the list here first. I think I have just 8 more figures to match up to weapons and photograph. I should get to that tonight. I'll have like 40 complete figures to sell. I have an additional 20 I'm keeping for now, cuz I don't have them myself (at least, I haven't found them yet; I may own some). And about a dozen additional figures are missing capes or weapons. Figures with plastic capes seem to have been his nemesis. Cloth capes are all present and accounted for, except for 2 of his 3 Bib Fortunas. 3 Snowtroopers all missing capes. 2 of his 3 Tusken Raiders are missing capes. Lando and Leia Bespin are missing capes. It's sad... I have extra weapons though. I think only 3 figures are missing their weapons (Admiral Ackbar, one Gam. Guard, and... I forgot the 3rd). It's been fun matching everything up...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

All this Hoth excitement has forced my hand. I bought a Snowtrooper and pre-ordered Hoth Luke with a coupon.

The last couple sold for $225 and $333. Both were opened. :thud:
