I can appreciate the T&A but this isn't SW to me. This is pandering to fanboys. But as well as her merchandise sells I'd say its working.

I just purchased a Marmit Stormtrooper. I can't wait to see how it compares to the Sideshow figure.

They can be pretty good with a bit of work... biggest annoyance on them is the lack of wrist or ankle articulation; but you can either do some customizing to the pieces, or just substitute in Sideshow pieces.

The pose the guy had in the auction looked pretty darn good to me. Or I might just find a pose from the classic photos that are out there.

There's work that needs to be done, that's for sure, but the accuracy of the armor is still the best to date.

My first high end 1/6th scale figure ever.

yea the marmits are great. cut around the ankles & wrists, swap the hands to an ssc stormy or sandtrooper & port over to a slim true type.

Not a bad price... even just w/o any alterations it still looks very good. Although if he's not yet built you will need to do some minor assembly.

A word of advice, heat the waist armor before putting it on. I failed to do that and broke the him on mine
