I've decided to try out a few Mythos pieces...

Which should I get first?

1. Gammorean Executioner - only 750 made, releasing in March
2. Obi Wan Nomad - releasing in March, in general quite bad ***
3. Boba Fett - initially the only one I wanted to get, not out til June
4. Darth Maul - hard to believe I put him before Vader, but have you seen him? And he's available immediately, and even though I don't love the prequels, there is something alluring about Maul. Think he might sell out?
5. Darth Vader - don't vote for this one, I'm waiting for in hand pics

Help me out Cantina!

I don't have to necessarily pick just one, and I do like the Fett a lot. I'm just gonna sell some other toys to get them. So, what about the low edition size on the Gammy. That has me leaning toward him heavily. That and the Feazetta-esqueness of the piece...

I think Obi's the most soulful of them but Boba's a close second. Nice display options, too, with the McGregor and Guiness headsculpts.

Gammy does look badass, but damn... if I have to have one Mythos statue, don't know if it's his half-naked body I wanna be staring at! Obi-Wan is something to aspire to, IMO. Great character and with the two headsculpts... If I could only have one (and was into that line -- full disclaimer: I only buy 1:6) it'd be Obi, for sure.

Obi definitely tells a very robust and textured story there.

Just afraid I'll miss on the Gammy, with the small edition.

If you had to choose just one, I would choose Obi. There is a multitude of story between the two head sculpts, the tattered clothing. Anakin's saber in his possession, etc. To me that piece is the lost tale of Obi-Wan as he lived on Tattoine and he watched over Luke from afar.

Me, I know I cannot get pulled into the line, so Maul will be my only one.

But...

You must do what you feel is right of course...

In addition, collect what love, not what a number dictates. Always think of it as piece you will cherish and enjoy watching as you walk past it in your collection.

Totally understood. And I've seen this mentioned countless times on the board whenever someone creates a thread about "what should I buy?, etc." But in this case, I just wanted to get the views of the denizens of the Cantina. I'm sure I'll end up with at least four of the five shown so far. Just wanted input on which to pull the trigger on first. We'll have in hand Obi-Wan images soon, but I'm still leaning heavily toward the Gammy. And he doesn't even have a single vote in my impromptu poll...
