re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's one I haven't watched in awhile. I may need to pull that out for this week. :rock

Its a classic! I watched it last year when I got the blu ray but haven't since. So its time. I love it especially cause it reminds me of my Dad, it was one of the very very few movies he enjoyed and I remember watching it with him.

Sounds like a great reason to watch it. :hi5:

On this day in 1977, C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader left their prints at Mann's Chinese Theater.

I think I may start off with a Kurt Russell block: Escape From New York, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China.

I told you. It leaves an impression for sure.

The movie is wonderful. So much heart. I almost wish it wasn't connected so that it didn't have to spend time cramming in
Thanos and Infinity Gauntlet exposition.
Not that I didn't like that stuff as a Marvel fan, but I think there could have been an even stronger movie about these characters without it. And more time for the active villain to breathe. It got a little convoluted (I've never read a GotG comic).

And I know I'm drinking the delicious Marvel Kool Aid right now...but honestly, can DC not figure out that if they'd stop making every character a self-loathing hermit audiences might relate to them? Guardians wins you over in five minutes by having Chris Prat dance with space lizards. Superman looks like a scary bearded homeless person in MOS. HE'S YOUR BEACON OF HOPE CHARACTER!!!! :wave:slap

Well ****, as I was getting Big Trouble out to get ready after Highlander I thought after that I would watch Empire Strikes Back. Open up the case and what do I find? NOTHING! What the ****!?!?!?! I no doubt had it in the Playstation at one time and went to put another movie in, to lazy to walk over and put ESB in the case I am sure I stuck it in the case of whatever movie I was gonna watch. Problem is there are well over two hundred movies that I could have watched. Fawking idiot ....Now I have no idea where my blu ray copy of ESB is :slap....Goddamn it!

I think it would be easier to just ask JJJ is he can make me another copy.

Son of a *****.

I think I may start off with a Kurt Russell block: Escape From New York, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China.

So, without ESB, I will go to my second favorite sci-fi movie off all time, The Thing :rock

Legend Theatrical Cut
Legend Directors Cut
Highlander Directors Cut
Big Trouble Little China
The Thing

That's pretty cool, dig R2's the most.

DC seems clueless.

Marvel should just start making DC movies.

I hate when I put a movie in another case or somewhere else entirely. I bought Buck Rogers last year and attempted to watch it again, but it's pretty bad. Now I can't find the first disc, so I can't sell the series until I do. :slap
