The ticket said "electronic device" so it could relate to anything. I so wanted to be a d-eye-ck to the guy but when it comes to the law I have more to lose than I have to gain.

That sucks - mandatory court date? Way to clog up the courts. The first and last time I got pulled over for talking on the phone - while I was driving - the officer let me stew on a $400 fine before letting me off with a warning. You don't have to go to court to learn a lesson ffs.

Wow! Even in American dollars that's a crazy amount for a ticket.

Yeh, it's about 92 American cents to our dollar. A basic speeding fine is $150. And there are traffic cameras mounted at just about every second intersection in the cities. We're a very heavily policed society.

I don't even know how much my ticket is. I broke a law so stupid they don't even list it on the fines on the paper they gave me.
