[FLOSI]

What's the story on your WIP 1/6 Han... looks pretty good even w/o a head

SS clothing/gun belt, narrow TT, DID boots with the straps cut off and silver bits painted and some random double hole belt that I'm not terribly happy with. I'm going to use a Stormtrooper Han head that's with Ski for a paint up. Here's a crap pic I sent him a few weeks back.

My Stars Wars threshold goes no further than Sideshows 1:6 line.

I really really tried to sit through episodes 1-3. Finally did it too. Only took me 5 weeks.

Would a belt like the original Han smuggler's belt work?? Buckle looks to be smaller but might not match the look you are going for

Flosi..I could not find a comparison pic for the exact look you are going for (I did not search back through the thread to see if you posted a picture and that's my fault) but quite a few pics I found showed a smaller belt on Han similar to the link I posted. Admittedly not every pic was with the blue coat so I could be way off on what your final look is.

edit: disregard, the belt I came up with is black and would look horrid with the brown pants.

SS included those little cheap, thin black belts for the pants, Gree. They really, really suck. Han wore belts with two rows of holes, so that's what I'm looking for.

yeah I finally found a decent close up of his belt and see that it's similar to the one I wear on a daily basis with two stacked holes. Coloring and style almost reminds me of an Indy type belt but I belt even those were one hole not two.

On one of a bluray set disks they have all these props that you can zoom in and out on and Han's ESB get up is one of those props. I wish they had that for a few more characters, but anyway, yeah, the stacked holes.

So I just checked War-Toys and they have about 5 different ones that would all be better than the one I bought... I'll pick up like three and see which works best.
