re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

We got a tiny refund this year, but I assume that mostly due to having a ****-ton taken out each paycheck in order to pay taxes at the end of the year.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm holding off on that release. There is very little information on what it will look like, or it's size and such, It's still a bit steep for me at $150 for just being screen shots. Even if they were "hand picked" by Uncle George. Plus half of it is PT, and I'm kind of on the bandwagon with hating them lately. I am watching your fan edit of Ep. 1 right now though while I study. Thanks again!!!

EDIT: I am not touching my poster fund to pay these thieves. :lecture

Greatest edit ever. I want to see that poster become a reality! :D

Ugh, we had to pay twice that this year.

Our days of refunds have been over for a number of years now. :monkey2

I must be one of the teeming masses, because I always get a refund. But then, I put some extra in to be sure I've overpaid.

You know what's funny. I sent you Allegiance didn't I? Now I'm on the hunt for every Star Wars hardback, first print, novel. How stupid of me was that?

I make me :rotfl

Do you want it back? :)

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm embarrassed to say I haven't finished my taxes yet. I started em online over a month ago, but never did finish. I damn well better be getting a refund, cuz I gotta pay for my recent vacation, my Tamashii Nations C3PO, my Mythos Obi-Wan, and all of the books I just pre-ordered!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That's for a C8/C9 first printing. I can get a C9 "Funky Text" version for $200 less. Hmmmmm.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I need to sell my Sideshow Vader bust. That would go a long way towards ESB. :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

That is true. Something cool about the chance to own a first printing, too. :thud:

Of course, that's why I spent $70 on a vintage calculator for the bubble strip rather than just get a copy for $15. When you have the real deal it's more meaningful.

Still need to assemble the lightsaber, but I've got the pieces :lol

No to mention, that would free up some serious space! Isn't that thing HUGE? I don't own any 1:1 busts. I love em, but just don't have the space. However, Yoda would be very very appealing to me...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

For a C8/C9 that is linen-backed and framed, probably around $1500. I guess I need to see if I need to factor in more for shipping. :panic:

I admire your dedication and hope I can do this one day. :hi5:

Agreed. Will the fold lines be out due to the process?

Agreed.

Now get that badboy put together! :yess:

I concur! Plus, "funky text" sounds scary. WTF is that?

I did more research and it's actually a fourth printing. :monkey1

Vader is a big space hog, especially if you display him with his helmet separately on the stand.

Agreed. Will the fold lines be out due to the process?

They aren't as noticeable. Here's an example. Big image. Sorry. :monkey3
