Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I didn't do that until the 30s.

I think the facebook amplifies it in that you sort of see what's going on in other people's lives that you might not really interact with that much anymore. It makes you feel weird or isolated since you aren't in the same place in your life that you perceive others are. It's unnatural.

But back on topic, Snaggletooth is cool. :yess:

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

Yep. That wonderful time when all the people you grew up with are getting married and making babies. :lecture

I got married at age 30 and our kids were born when I was 32 and 35. Enjoy your freedom while you can! There is NO rush whatsoever. You can enjoy marriage and parenthood in due time, right now you can do anything, go anywhere. I love my wife and kids but damn if us family guys don't dream of being in your shoes from time to time.

You always want what you think you can't have, treasure your freedom while you've got it. :duff

Best post I've read today, I forgive you Kevin. :duff 1st kid when I was 29, and the 2nd and last kid almost 11 months ago (32). Seriously, soak it up sonny. Kids are a vacuum of awesomeness, time, energy, money, and frustration wrapped up into a tiny vessel of love.

Thanks Mr. C. I guess I'll start worrying once I turn 30.

Thanks Khev and Waller as well.

Couldn't have said it any better myself... my daughter (15 mos) was born when I was 32. People tell you your life will change, but you really don't believe it or understand the extent to which it changes :lol But for all the loss of freedom, money, sleep, etc there is no way I'd want to go back after knowing first hand what its like to be a father.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

Ben, similar to others, my daughter wasn't born until I was 30. My early-mid '20s were a difficult time in some ways, but personally, I've become a lot more accepting of who I am (i.e., superior to all others in all ways), less angsty, and more calm/balanced as I got closer to 30. I was listening to Hall and Oates on the ride to work today! Not sure if this should be encouraging or a cautionary tale, though.

<--Hall & Oates fan. (nothing to be proud of :()

Bill Murray's brother (Brian-Doyle) does the voice for the Dutchman. :dunno

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

I really like voice acting. And yeah Klancy Brown is the man, even if he was in Highlander.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

What a great job that would be. Some voices you can tell are the same in multiple cartoons. Must be nice.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka Where the "cool guys" of the Star Wars forum hangout...

Yeah, I about pissed my pants when I met the voice of Grimlock & Spirit from GI JOE. Something I wished I had gotten into.

Kome on I was just kidding. I actually have grown to like the wackyness of Highlander, and you can't go wrong with the soundtrack. But the rest suck ass, ugh the Quickening.

^^ I was wondering if you would catch his comment. :lol

Don't forget to replake your C's with K's! Kah-kah!
