Funny story about that... I ordered one and they sent me the Blu-ray but no figure and the set had already disappeared from the website. The invoice in the box made no mention of the figure either so I returned it about a week later. 2 days after that the figure showed up separately in a plain box with no invoice or anything. Still have the figure but never got around to re-buying the movie.

Good deal! I haven't seen that Apes movie yet. The first reboot one was a little depressing, so I'm having a hard time motivating myself to watch the sequel.

I ordered some Neca SDCC exclusives tonight. I always seem to regret buying Neca figures immediately after I buy them. Maybe I should stop.

I believe they're the same size as the ones from C7. The only difference is that this time it's a 10 pack for $20. The Celebration packs were 5 cards for $10. I picked up the Fett & Chewie sets.

Well, Predator is the main one I wanted. I'll keep monitoring the site. Dunno if I want to spend $75 on POTA. If Predator comes back in stock, I may get both. But I likely won't order POTA by itself...

Probably all of those would have been buys in a bygone era, but prices what they are today I'm not buy everything that just looks cool.

Leia: Definite buy. Looks excellent and a bagillion times better than Sideshows.
Maul: Looks excellent, big improvement over the original. Not sure if I'll buy the whole thing or just pick up the head and boots.

What is with Sideshow and their "interpretations" infatuation? They did it with their Joe line, with arguably horrific results. They are doing it with their Marvel 1/6 line, so far with not exactly terrific results. And I just saw their MotU premium formats. WTF?!? I just don't understand the reasoning behind taking beloved licences and taking the characters and making them in your own vision? Whats the point? You have to assume you are already alienating at least 50% of the fan base. I imagine there is an art director deep within the bowels of Sideshow in a big demonic throne, laughing manically ass his minions toil, crafting all manner of his offensive character interpretations.

I will say that Court of the Dead looks fantastic (which is what happens when you don't pay attention to anything else), and I haven't seen a bad looking Star Wars figure in a while.

I don't get the complaints about the Jawas. They look better than 90% of the customs out there.
