Don't be sad Fury, we were all here when he posted that. He was saying hello to the freaks that were present.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Ok, so this past weekend I was able to meet a few of you great freaks (Gibby, Avfin, & KenBenobi) and a couple of them made note that they didn't know what to call me other than Punk cause they didn't know my real name, and apparently I never signed it in PMs or much on the boards and so they were trying to figure out what my name was without letting on that they had no idea what it was. hahaha. I answer to Punk all the time so I never really thought about it, and am used to everyone knowing me from the other boards I've been on... but I figured I would introduce myself properly to the Freaks of Flosi's Cantina since I'll probably be hanging around a lot more. Some of you guys like MadCow and JJJ know me pretty well from my time on the Spawn boards... but for the others, here's the cliff notes on Punkg42...

My name is Steve. I'm 36 years young.
I started collecting back in 1992 ish when a friend sold me a shoe box full of comics which included some McFarlane Spider-man issues, and a few Spawn issues. Being an artist myself I instantly fell in love with them and started collecting comics... then McFarlane started making toys in 1994, the same year the new POTF Star Wars figs hit the stands... I found a full case of wave 1 of the orange carded figs and bought it, one set for me, one for my brother... needless to say with the release of Spawn figures and new Star Wars... I branched out into figure collecting... and never stopped.

My first SSC piece was the Western Ghost Rider PF.
I collect comics, figures, video games, statues, busts, you name it.
Big fan of anything Image Comics especially Spawn and Savage Dragon, and all the early stuff including swag.
Some of the lines I collect are Spawn, Star Wars, Simpsons, Metal Gear, Comic related characters, video game related characters, TFs, comic trading cards. I love anything pop culture.

Been happily married for 12 years (July 1st)! My wife collects My Little Pony stuff and has a ton.

I live in Indiana just west of Indianapolis.

Well, I think that covers it. Thanks for welcoming me into the Cantina. Nice to have a place to hang when Spooktacular isn't going on and everyone leaves the Spook thread. :D

Oh, there is a collection pic link to my collection in my sig if you want to check it out.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

This is true.

I picked up the Superman, Wonder Woman and Lex set and the Superman/Zod set. I was going to get some of the Lone Ranger sets but everything was gone that I wanted. I was going to buy every single one of the little cannon/cavalry sets but they were sold out. Couldn't leave empty handed though.

Those Superman sets are excellent! Got those built already and now they are in my LEGO town.
