Do you even know all of what you own?
If I see something, I usually know if I own it. But in most cases, I sure as hell won't know where it is.
You should have seen his texts to me today. He clearly has no idea. It's amazing... :dunno

That's not exactly true! You asked me about an item from 1991, before I started collecting. But even so, if you sent me a picture of it, I guarantee I can tell you whether or not I own it. I was trying to picture what the hell you're even talking about. I own a lot of SW books that I've never ever read. It's silly, I know. I always have full intention of reading them, but rarely do. I do tend to page through them when I first get them, unless it's a special limited edition item.

I did unbox many of my books from the 90's last year. I took my Art of Dave Dorman book to a convention, and had Dave sign it. But special box sets wouldn't have been in that copy paper box.

What is that? The Marvel Comics? That looks like a nice set.

Oh, that's a very nice set, but unfortunately kind of pricey. I picked it up a couple of years ago and think I paid in the vicinity of $250 to $300 for it, but it's the only way to get the original unaltered B&W newspaper strips.

Just a few years ago too, well maybe five now, they found a bunch of surplus stock in their warehouse and sold them for about $150 if I remember from the blog post I found when researching the books. Wish I had known about that, but I probably wouldn't have thought to pick it up then either. Good luck!

That's a compilation of the original newspaper strips. Although I think it did omit a certain portion of the run if I'm not mistaken.

Just took a job in Colorado. Will be moving there at the end of the month. Excited, but nervous at the same time. :yess: :horror

Thanks, guys. It's weird thinking about leaving a place I've been for almost a decade. But life is full of adventures and I'm looking forward to this.

My wife is even open to letting me have a basement in our new home, so you know what that means. :yess:
