I hate painting, but once you get started it's not too bad.

I hate the taping and edging. After that its a piece of cake.

Yeah that is the worst part. I hated doing that on my display cabinet, can't imagine doing it to a whole house.

Seemed daunting at first, but once you get going, its a piece of cake. Just can be messy.

We were quoted $1k labor for someone to paint it, but wife said no, I said yes. She won and now wishes she didn't.

I've been there... it sounds like a lot of money until you realize you wouldn't paint someone else's place for the same amount

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to King Darkness again. , also would have repped for a Duggar image.

I like tattoos, which is why I have this:

The anchor is inspired by my grandfathers tattoo of an anchor (grandfather on my fathers side).

The swallow is inspired by my grandfather on my mothers side. He had a swallow tattoo. And their tattoos are a clear memory from my childhood. Always thought they were cool and my grandparents on both sides mean alot to me.

And when we have kids I'm getting a morse code inspired one.

I have an anchor tattoo too.

I killed myself in the backyard yesterday, but I do have everything looking clean and tidy now.... all the dirt that ended up in my nose has me sneezing like crazy though... ugh...

Annual SAP cutover testing, so it's not a big deal. We switch off, so it's usually something I have to do every other year.

Still stinks when work invades the weekend... I felt kind of assy all weekend and the kiddo was sick. So being back to work is kind of a drag

The fourth quarter is our busy time, so no vacation October through December. They try to pressure me into working overtime on the weekends too, but I usually try to avoid it.

That's how it works for me. As a grocery store we are open 8-21 everyday, and I have to work every other weekend. But that means I always have tuesdays off. Makes mondays easier to face.

I have an anchor tattoo too.
