To any of the guys that are collecting the SW Funko POPs, the Jabba/Salacious/Slave Leia Walmart exclusive is out but beware, there have been some reported quality control issues.

Fund goes up. Not much, but I'm going to dip a little from each paycheck, and since I get paid weekly, I'm hoping it will add up fast...

I have big plans to jettison 99% of my collection (comics at the least) this year, before our rental lease is up.

And that's gonna be really hard. :(

Just out of curiosity, what encompasses the 1% that you're keeping?

99% is a big purge. I've done the same before and while it can be hard, it feels good ...

My Grendel collection, maybe some G.I. Joe, possibly some of the Aircel Adventurers comics, issues I've had signed or sketched in person, and just some other oddities to remember my 30 years of collecting comics...

Probably be more like 5-10% really. It's going to be too hard. :(

I'd love to end up with three or four short boxes at most. Finely curated to just my personal essentials.

Or did you mean other than the comics as well?

That's a story for another day.

Actually that is what I meant - the stuff other than the comics. :lol

I can sympathize on the comics as well though. I have gone from 5 to 9 short boxes in the past two years - that's a lot for me. The Mignolaverse has been expanding and now that Marvel has Star Wars again, that portion of my collection is growing exponentially fast. Marvel is really kicking those books out and there's always another mini-series to go along with it. I love Dark Horse, but many of their Star Wars titles never really pulled me in. I definitely enjoyed some, but they tended to be mini-series or one shots, none of the on-goings. Something about the Marvel Star Wars books has me in full embrace - maybe it's just seeing that classic era revisited for the first time in a long time.

You can't go wrong with personal essentials. I'll probably need to weed through my boxes again sometime soon, continual growth gets overwhelming and then much of it loses it meaningfulness.

I know a guy that makes them. Tarkin and Sandtrooper are two. They aren't cheap. If you are interested lmk.

Finally got around to permanently installing the lights in my cabinet.

And a lock, so they are safe. :)

Great work on the lights. Still trying to figure out what solution to go with myself. Actually, i've settled for LED strips but i'm wondering where to position them. I hadn't considered positionning them on posts top to bottom.

That thing was so difficult to let go. I miss him already but it's good to see him in your collection. :)

Where have you put him? Remember it should be a sturdy piece of furniture (no particle board crap), elevated from potential flooding, and no on the edge... I saw how far off the ledge Abomination was. lol
