re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Lmk if you want to start. I've got almost everything for my personal collection and some doubles I'm looking to move. Cory has a bunch too.

Let me know what you have Titus! (Pics would help as I don't know all the names) I know Cory has some, but don't think he's selling at all.

I need to start moving some stuff again, too. I just checked and my poster fund wasn't as low as I thought it was even though I bought other stuff recently.

Same here. I've got so much to sell but so little time.

: Then who would you have chosen to pull off the last trilogy?

Oh he was fine for the Trilogy. I just don't see him in Justice League or Super Friends.

One vintage line I've always wanted to collect is MASK.

I had so many MASK toys as a kid. I remember always running home to watch the cartoon after school. I was just looking at those toys today while scouring for some AFA Droid goodness. They really brought me hours of joy so long ago. Mine are all in the landfill now. But we all know that story, don't we?

You deserve it! Go for the gusto and get an AFA pop up saber R2... Then give it to me as it's one of the last 6 I need. :(

You doing loose buddy? Or AFA loose?

I just want one AFA carded figure, maybe two! :D

I'm at the point with comics where I need to do a huge purge soon. Just have to decide what to keep and what to let go.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I sold off most of mine about 8 years ago. I wish I'd kept some of them now, but I had way too many and most of it wasn't worth keeping.

Flosi is going loose like me. Only way to afford them all. :panic:

Luckily, I'm a Droid head. And I don't even love all of them enough to buy every single one. But I can see myself with ever variation of the astromechs at the very least before this is over.

I'm very close to purging myself. I've got literally thousands, and this is going to be my final purge. I've gutted the collection before, but this time I think I'm going to be brutal. Actually, I put a box out on the corner where all the neighborhood kids could see it the other day with a sign that read "free comics - take them and read!" And it was gone in about an hour. Just a short box with some old Spider-man and Avengers...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I think I have 34 or 35 long boxes at the moment! I need to clear a bunch out for sure. Will keep most of my Image stuff for sure, and a lot of the artists stuff I like from other companies like McFarlane, Capullo, Larsen, etc. Some of the stuff I have realized I will probably never go back and read again, so I can live with getting rid of them.

Yeah, there is just tons of stuff I have that I really have no love for or need to keep... like the FCBD books that I've picked up over the years etc just to get cause they were free. I might do something like you and put a bunch of stuff like that out at a small show for kids to take free.

So are the Mythos statues going too?

I'll try and get some together this weekend.

Comics, I thankfully usually only stick to the artists I collect: Mignola, Powell and Dorkin. However, I have picked up misc TPBs over the years that need to go.

Amen to that! I've been selling smaller things which are easier to post, and I can use stock pictures. But when I have to sell something expensive, it is too time consuming. You want to do it right, not have arsed.

All loose. That way I can still play with them. :D :yess:

Oh, no, sorry. I meant a comic book purge. I'm actually quite looking forward to Maul, when the second batch finally arrives in July. My Ben has really grown on me, now that I have him complete with Gaffi stick and spear. Not to mention the myc custom unlit hilt!

I like to play with loose ones too. But sometimes I prefer them tight. :yess:

Flosi likes to play with his 3.75 inchers! :panic:

I like to admire mine, while they live happily inside an acrylic case.

BTW - offers sent for my first three AFA Droids! Pending response! :D

I was gonna say. Thought I might need to come to vegas and slap some sense into you. :lol

Maul is pretty sweet. I think you will really like it. Obi-Wan is the best SW item they've ever done IMO with Maul close behind. If Vader comes out well he may take the top spot.

Fury, I've got a friend that owns a comic shop in Vegas. If you want I can give you his number.

Cool! Get kids into comics again, instead of just video games (and porn). I like it! I'm not even into comics, yet I have a ton (mainly Star Wars, and things acquired from past years SDCC or Free Comic Book Day. Some day I'll find that stuff and give them away... Well, not the Star Wars ones. Even if I don't read em, I'm compelled to keep those. Oh, and I won't part with my Clerks comics, since they are 1st Printing and signed by Kevin Smith. :yess:
